I started a new job a few months ago and noticed that several women on my unit have beautiful curly, wavy hair. My hair is naturally curly/very wavy and I have had it heavily foiled every 4 weeks to âremain blondeâ for 22 years. When I turned about 25 years old I stopped wearing my hair ânaturallyâ ever. I finally asked one of the women âI have to ask what products do you use that make your curls so pretty and not frizzy? Itâs a leave in I assume?â. Then she said âNo, no products. Itâs my shampoo and conditioner. Kristin Ess.â. I bought it here that night (both shampoo and this conditioner) and the first time I used it- I couldnât believe the difference in my hair. I still used my regular leave in (liquid rollers by EVO) curl definer but even that worked better than before. I have never felt comfortable enough to wear my hair naturally âoutâ (like for a date or gathering) but I actually do now. It not only works (I canât believe more people donât know about this!) but it smells really good, its EXTREMELY reasonably priced (I was thrilled), and itâs size (as well as the shampooâs) is great bc it fits nicely in those wire suction/hanging shower product holder things- but if you donât have one, the size is compact enough (without skimping on product) to not take up space in weird places of your shower.

Great scent, but not CG
This conditioner has the most incredible scent of any shampoo Iâve ever used. I think the scent is mostly sandalwood. However, it dried out my hair and made it frizzy. There are some non-CurlyGirl approved ingredients. It may work for your hair, but itâs not right for mine. I really wish it was so I could keep smelling like sandalwood.

Unbearable scent
I gave 3 stars only because this is a personal preference and others may find the Moisture Rich CURL CONDITIONER (10oz.) to be a 5 star product. I want to give 0 stars for the scent alone. I took a sniff before using and the scent is UNBEARABLE. Smells like an old granny you come across in the grocery store who uses way too much perfume… and you can smell her cheap perfume stench in every aisle she’s been in. Super disappointing this scent is so bad. I’ve tried the Kristin Ess s/c version from Costco, and while that one has a coconut-y scent at least it’s tolerable and the product itself is amazing. I had high hopes for the CURL CONDITIONER since if have very curly hair.
