Works, looks and smells great!
I ordered this kit because I have a different brand of warmer already, but like to do all my parts at one time using a wax for fine hair and a wax for thicker hair. I love this wax warmer and the wax. It’s cute, gave clear instructions and has a flower to show the temperature that works the best. It heated up fairly quickly. I really like the flexible silicone bowl and the fact it goes all the way to the outside. I have a different brand I struggle to open because the wax strings practically flue the plastic top onto the warmer. This one opens like a charm. I have only used the pink wax so far, but I love it! It worked very well to pull out fine hair and smelled nice too. It was a nice consistency and wasn’t too stringy. I need to note the directions said to use pre and post wax spray and the kit did not include those. I used pre-wax spray on one leg and found it worked better without it.I definitely will recommend this kit which included the warmer, the silicone bowl, packets of wax beads and some application sticks. It is a great value and I will buy this brand of wax from now on. I am very happy with my pretty pink warmer.

Okay..wow. Iâll start by saying about 3 years ago I purchased a wax kit from Ulta (triple the price) it was messy it was painful and it took layers of my skin with it! After that I swore I would never wax again! With a trip coming up I was growing my hair out to give it another shot. Who wants to mess with shaving on vacation? Last week I came across this set and since it was on sale I thought Iâd try it outâ¦it was quite literally the most satisfying experience! I waxed my armpits and my legs and still had 2 bags of beads left. Although uncomfortable it was not near as bad as the previous one I tried. It pulled every last hair out! As you can see in the pictures it didnât disappoint. The clean up was a breeze. So worth the price. Even if you use different beads the warmer is just awesome! I would recommend 100 times over!

Great machine but the wax itself is not the best.
Works great however the wax isnât the greatest you need to apply a thick coat and even then somethingâs it Dosent peel off in one big strip itâs a bunch of Brooke off pieces.

COILY and Coarse Facial Hair Removal
Initially bought this so I could wax my eyebrows, but decided to use it on my chin hair as well. I find that 160/161 degrees F (71 Celcius) is the perfect temp for the wax to do what it really needs to do. The kit I purchased came with 2 yellow (chest and back), and 2 pink (face and eyebrows); I used both on my face just to see what the difference was. The pink seems a bit softer, goes on smoother, and is thicker when you apply it. It also doesn’t hurt as much when you remove it (TIP: apply the wax in a downward motion, but rip it up in an upward motion!). The yellow wax was thinner, dried faster, and hurt to remove…but it removed more hair than the pink wax. Another TIP: Watch hair waxing videos on social media if you are unsure of how to apply the wax correctly!

Great Experience!
Iâd like to state that I am a novice at waxing. I have a terrible reaction to shaving. No matter the blade, technique, or aftercare product, I seem to always end up with terrible razor bumps that hurt badly. With summer coming up, I decided Iâve had enough and want to feel confident showing my legs again. I did quite a bit of research regarding different products and how to wax properly. I watched lots of videos as well- some helpful and some scary. But I quickly learned the scary ones were truly human error or a lack of practice. Iâm hoping that sharing my experience can help another beginner like me!Since I wasnât sure how my skin would react to waxing, I didnât want to spend a fortune. But I also wanted to do it right. This was a wonderful deal. The warmer is super cute (I got the pink one), and itâs small enough to fit on my bathroom shelf. Itâs also not an eye sore and I donât feel the need to hide it somewhere. Shipping was fast and everything was exactly as described.The manual was very helpful, although I do think it would have touched more on how to operate the actual warmer. However, it ended up not being an issue because itâs easy-peasy. After plugging in and pouring your wax beads, you simply turn the dial to the temp youâd like. 155-160 was perfect for me. The manual does address this, but you must remember that the warmer is going to reach its max temp in order to fully melt the wax (240 something- extremely hot!) The digital reader will rise and then fall back down to your set temp. Thereâs also a red/green light to let you know when itâs ready (it took about a total of 10-15 minutes.) Test a small amount on your inner wrist before diving into it. This will give you an idea of how it will feel and if the consistency is correct. I feel that it needs to be a bit thicker than honey⦠more like condensed milk.There is definitely a learning curve to this whole process. Holding horizontally and twisting the stick is your best friend. This helps to create a bulb at the end of the stick. I recommend also using an up and down motion as you twist, similar to a handshake, to separate any strings hanging onto the bulb. If there is any dripping, the wax is way too hot, but this should not happen if you keep it between 155-160. I started on my leg and the technique wasnât hard to learn, but I was getting sad when I wasnât picking up much hair. I took a break from that and tried my armpit. This is where I learned a lot. Because my armpits are more sensitive than my legs, and I was anxious about the pain, I peeled the wax much sooner than I was before. It ripped out every hair. And I mean ALL of it. And the pain was so minimal, it took me all of 2 minutes to finish both armpits. The directions say to peel after 30-45 seconds, but this was too long and was making the wax un-stick to my hair. I found more success in waiting about 10 seconds, and so the rest of the waxing was smooth sailing.Iâm sure it can be different for people with other hair types and directions of growth, but I think patience and practice is key. I let my coarser hairs grow a bit longer than a grain of rice (which was an annoying 3 weeks, but itâs worth it!) My hairs grow at different speeds and thickness, so I can feel some of the small, finer hairs still. But I know waxing has to be done multiple times before itâs uniform and/or stops growing. You can always tweeze anything noticeable leftover. Overall, I am so satisfied and impressed with this purchase and couldnât recommend it enough, especially for someone wanting to learn how. It’s been 24 hours and normally Iâd be covered in painful bumps, but my skin is silky smooth and clear! I love that they also sell Kotamu wax beads separately so that you can keep using the brand if you adore it like I did!

Dear Kotamu and Amazon KSA,When you wish to sell an electric product, the voltage and adapter of said product should not be secondary in terms of priorities.I was waiting for the machine only to be faced by this:The power adapter is made for the US and same for the 120 voltage of the machine (not mentioned in the description too!) while Saudi Arabia outputs support 240 V.Diagraceful!

If youâre a beginner like me, donât buy these beads. They take forever to dry and stick on everything, and leave such a messy residue even if the strip comes off in one piece. Even soap and water isnât gonna get all of the tiny residue out.. But the heater is really good, love the silicone bowl as well.

i love the wax warmer in this kit and the silicone insert that it comes with, makes for easy wax removal so you donât have to spend time cleaning it out. on the other hand, the wax beads that come with this kit didnât do too well for me. i would recommend buying the wax melter and different brand beads for best outcome!

Works perfectly well.FYI, With one 100g packet of the wax beads I was able to wax my legs from foot to knee, underarms, upper lip and side burns.Does not bruise and effectively removes unwanted hair.

I was really pleased with how this wax warmer was working, and the wax was great too. However sadly the machine turned itself off and stopped working only 20 minutes of first use. I donât know whether mine is faulty or what happened, but any advice would be greatly appreciated..
