Good old fashion thermometer
Good old fashion thermometer but donât put it in the oven. I did not read all the info and thought it could be used in the oven. Mine melted. Other than that worked great. Easy to read.

Comparing thermostat temperature to the temp of the air coming our of your ducts
You could purchase this thermometer and use it as advertised. It works very well. But think of other things you could use it for. You could be pleasantly surprised. We used it for measuring the leaving air temperature in a register. What is the temperature of the air leaving your registers compared to what you have your thermostat set on? Is your ac unit efficient? Are there any leaks in your ductwork? Check it out.

Inaccurate
I like the look and the convenient small size.I do not think it gives accurate temperatures.I used it while making a pork tenderloin and wished I had not. According to this temperature Guage, I cooked the tenderloin to a medium rare temperature. It turned out very, very well done and dry. I couldn’t enjoy it. My dog ate it, but she didn’t seem thrilled by it.
