YES!!! Finally a mask that actually gets rid of brassy yellow hair color!!!Bare w me here….My natural hair is very dark blonde (darker as i get older) w very light ash highlights that I’ve done myself for as long as i can remember. I was interested in toning down the contrast of color in my hair (lighten the darker natural color by a shade and tone down the highlights a shade). A professional decided to use an ash based toner on my whole head – mistakenly thinking my darker hair was dyed, even though i told her it had never been.It turned all my natural hair ORANGE, the roots were even worse, and the highlights were tinged yellow… then she couldn’t fix it (that’s an even longer story). To preserve my hair health I left determined to find a solution on my own, except 6 months later I still HATED the gold and orange brass throughout my hair.I had watched a TikTok of a salon using this stuff (the focus wasn’t even about this product!), so I decided to try it…. IT WORKED THE 1ST TIME I USED IT!!! All my highlights are now an ash blonde like they’re supposed to be, and it did change my darker hair enough that I can live with it while it grows out (it’s not made for darker blonde brass but it did help enough that I’m ok to wait it out while it grows).The smell is fantastic! It leaves my hair super soft, not heavy, I can’t say enough about this product!! I use it 2-3 times per week, I leave it on for about 10 mins or so. ITS WORTH THE MONEY!!!I had tried so many other high end name brands, and spent way too much money on them with ZERO results, or they made all my hair very dark – this product does not do that!! I’m just amazed and can’t express how happy I am to have my hair color back!

HAPPY, HAPPY! After trying several products the past year (shampoos, tinted gloss, tinted conditioners and masks, direct dyes, and unfortunately a toner that had to be mixed with 10% developer that was hard on my hair and enhanced the yellow), my silver hair was still a bit yellowed from swimming in a chlorinated pool last summer without a cap (which I will never do again).When I ordered the Karseell I was hopeful, but got ready to face another purple product that didn’t address the yellowing. However, after one application of 5 minutes on damp-wet hair, my silvery locks reappeared with no yellow. It was a huge WOW moment. The next time I use Karseell I will towel dry my hair more and leave it on for 7 minutes to see what happens. OJO: After I shampooed and before applying the Karseell, I applied and followed the directions for K-18 Leave-in molecular repair so I would not have uneven color from the Karseell. After I rinsed out the Karseell, I reapplied some K-18 for 4 minutes, then towel dried and put in some leave-in conditioner.So glad that I tried Karseell!

This product is very expensive. In saying this it works very well and smells wonderful. I use it once a week maybe two weeks. It does cut the brass but can leave a bit of a purple glow if you donât wash it out properly. I am blonde and considering going silver by February 2025 embracing the greys.
