I’ve been using this product for years. It’s easy to apply and wash out. It doesn’t color near as effectively as a professional job but does OK for the money.

It says it lasts up to eight weeks until original color grows back, but thatâs not true. The color fades within a few days.

Nice option for covering a couple greys
I use this to cover up a few greys that are coming in and as a women who has brown hair, this is the closest match I’ve been able to find. Other box dyes turn my hair too redish and it just doesn’t look right. This option gives me coverage and without a lot of damage. Sadly, it just doesn’t last as long as I’d like but I plan on using it until I have so much grey that it just won’t work any longer.

Where do I begin? Though itâs a novel idea to squeeze color out through a comb, the experience is a lot worse in reality. Here are the Cons.1. Even though they say it has enough in the tube for 2 applications, thereâs barely enough for 1 unless you have extremely short hair or balding.2. As you can see the color on the box does not render the same color it gives your own hair so be very careful and select down in color. (See photo)They say the color shuts off automatically after 10 minutes so itâs not a case of user error by leaving it on for to long.3. Itâs extremely drying to your hair! The reason for this is because it doesnât work on the same principles as conventional hair color but instead deposits pigment to the outer hair shaft. Pigment laying on top of the hair shaft gives your hair a gritty feeling of dryness. I had to use a lot of conditioner just to make it feel like real hair again.4. While the applicator is a novel idea, it is much more messy than using a traditional applicator bottle. I think the comb applicator would be better for someone who has a beard or facial hair.So for the Prosâ¦â¦1. It is relatively inexpensive but around the same price as Clairol brand hair color.2. It is small enough to travel with⦠for touch-ups.3. It DOES render color within 10 minutes so if you need to color your hair quick and shave off an additional 10 minutes from the processing time, then this is for you. Most traditional hair colorâs processing time is between 20 and 30 minutes.My conclusionâ¦â¦.This product is better suited to color facial hair or eyebrows because it processes very quick! Other than that, I was very disappointed in the whole experience. I would advise that you do yourself a favor and mix up equal parts of water and some bleach for the shower, in a spray bottle so you can spray down your shower after.Good luck and happy hair coloring!!

Easy application
I really like the comb application. I wear my hair very short on the sides so didnât want a dark tint there vs the longer top. This application allowed me to do the top part first and afterward do the sides for a shorter duration. Looks very natural and you canât beat the price!

I’ve purchased Just for Men hair color many times off the shelf here in Australia. This one I purchased online here on Amazon. There are many differences I experienced. Firstly much less content. I have short-medium length hair, barely covered my hair .. perhaps this was why the end result was so poor. I did not like the comb style appliactor and removed it to rub the contents into my hair. When it was time to rinse out .. the color was awful. Unlike usual experiences, it went everywhere and was so dark I had to scrub my shower for ages. Not something I usually gave to do. Finally to my utter disappointment .. the color didn’t hold .. as per the photo. Still greys. Also you can see how hard it was to rub off my forehead by the redness of my skin. Unsure why this was such a difficult experience when my usual Just for Men hair color treatments are usually good.
