Perfect for blondes
A little goes a long way with this one. If you’re blonde and trying to avoid brassy colors, I recommend this. I use it once a week. The only drawback is that if you overuse it, your hair may turn purple. I’ve been using this brand for 5 years now, and it’s kept my hair healthy, my color shiny, and hydrated. If you pair it with both the conditioner and shampoo, it balances with the natural oiliness. Overall, very effective with a neutral scent.

Hands down a great product and better than Olaplex purple for my blonde highlights. After using this my hair was softer and more manageable and the vibrancy it brought out was amazing. I have been using Olaplex for over a year and every time it seems to really dry my hair and really no help with brassy and the vibrancy of the blonde. I switched over to using this along with Joico defy damage shampoo and conditioner and my hair is so soft now! Highly recommend this and other products.

Good toning, better for thick or damaged hair
I have natural gray hair and use a toning shampoo to keep my white streaks popping. It’s got a thin consistency, like many other purple shampoos, and a pleasant smell. It’s very conditioning, which leaves my fine hair a little heavy. I’m thinking it would work better for keeping bleached blonde hair soft and healthy, or smooth think wiry grays.
