My Husbandâs New Go-To Styling Gel
My husband is hooked on this Johnny B Mode gel and honestly I get why. It smells really fresh, like clean not cologne-y, and I always notice it in a good way when he uses it. The hold is awesome too. It keeps his hair in place all day but doesnât make it look stiff or crunchy. His hair still feels soft, like thereâs nothing in it, and thereâs no flaking or weird residue at all. Heâs got pretty thick hair and this stuff handles it no problem without making it look greasy or weighed down. He also likes that it rinses out easily and doesnât build up over time.I will say itâs a bit pricier than some of the drugstore gels but he swears itâs worth it. Weâve tried cheaper ones that either flake, donât hold, or smell funky and this one just does it all right. He uses it every day and itâs become his go-to so we just keep buying it. If you want a gel that smells great, works really well, and doesnât mess up your hair this oneâs definitely a solid choice even if itâs a little more than youâd usually spend.

My husband has been using this for years! The smell the hold everything is amazing! Then almost 2 years ago I tried it out for my frizzy long curly hair, and it left my hair in tact all day!
