The hair gel smells really nice and has a good sticky texture that works well for my son’s styling. It holds my hair in place without being too heavy. One thing to note â when the package first arrived, it was empty, which was disappointing. But I reached out, and the seller quickly sent me a replacement at no extra charge. Really appreciated the great customer service! That experience alone deserves a star. Overall, happy with the product and the way everything was handled

Excellent product!! I have been true to MODE gels, King (purple) and my FAVKRITE Lucky Boy (bright green) where the last 2 I used. Those 2, King and Lucky Boy have 5-STAR Scent, hold, ease of use!!That said, I figured FUDDY MATTE (red) would ALSO have a strong, enjoyable and pleasing scent to it?! NEGATIVE. It is NOT QUITE scentless BUT definitely does not have a strong scent?! What gives?Other than not smelling like a fresh barbers chair cut each and every use it is an excellent choice in a sculpting and holding all day long!! If MODE could PLEASE ADD a Pleasant Fresh Barbers Fade SCENT this would handsome be thee BEST gell out on the market. Strength & hold is superior to the best out there honestly.. Ez to washout when your day is done..

Stubborn Hair saver!
I have dark thick straight hair which I cut short during my teenage years and early twenties. It was easy to maintain and only needed very little gel if any to style my hair. Starting in my late twenties, I grew my hair longer and I have experimented through 10-20 types of hair products to style my hair and hold its shape during the day. Some worked great after I had my hair freshly cut, but didn’t hold to the task after 2-3 weeks. Others would not hold throughout the day, and my hair would flatten at the end of the day…or worst the product would already start flaking!Three years ago, I changed hairdresser and got my first encounter with Johnny B’s hair products. It was not Fuddy, but Mode. I really like Mode at first, but it did not hold through the weeks after I got my hair cut. So I kept experimenting with other products.Last year, the hair salon brought new products from Johnny B, and we tried Fuddy, and it has been the only product I have used since then. And I plan on using it as long as it is available on Amazon (hopefully forever). Fuddy styles my hair the way I want, and leaves matte finish, which I prefer. It hold through the day…and the next day…with no to minimal white flakes! It does get sticky to the hands after application of the product, but washing your hands with soap takes care of it. I really like that I can purchase the 16oz container for cheap on Amazon, and it lasts me a full year. This is the second container I have ordered so far. Very well worth the money!

Very strong hold
I like this hair gel. It has a very firm hold, but is not as matte I expected it to be. I really like this company because my hair is extremely frizzy and hard to manage but this product works well for my hair type.

Smells great, works well, but pretty pricey
I bought this after my barber had used it on me after a haircut. I love the finish and the smell it had. I decided to buy this instead of the gel that I typically use just to try it out. I did find that the price point was quite expensive for the amount of product you get. If youâre looking for a matte finish and strong hold, this is a product you should buy. Iâm not quite sure if I will re-purchase this since there are other brands that can give me the same hold and texture that I like. Maybe the smell will enough convince me to buy this again, who knows?

Product smells nice, holds hair exactly where I want it, not stiff or sticky, lasts til next shampoo, luv luv this stuff, product lasts a very long time , I have a short pixie cut, not sure if it’s great for long hair tho, depends on the styling I think. I like to push my bangs upward a bit, and it stays
