Very effective at-home IPL device.
With literally dozens of these Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) hair removal devices on the market it is difficult to know which one to buy. For the record I’m a male with light skin and a mixture of dark and gray hair. If your priority is effectiveness then this Salloot i15 Pro is probably your best choice. The most important feature when it comes to effectively removing hair is the amount of energy (joules) per unit area delivered in each pulse or group of pulses in a multi-pulse device. At an advertised 27 joules this device is near the top. The only one I’ve seen that is higher is the JOVS X which is advertised at 30 joules. I chose this device over that one for a few reasons. This device has dual flash lamps and the quad-pulse feature. The JOVS X has only one flash lamp and is just a single-pulse device. I’m not sure if these features increase effectiveness, but this is where the trend in IPL devices is going so I wanted to give it a try. Also, it was quite a bit cheaper than the JOVS X which broke the tie.I have used other IPL devices in the past including the JOVS Venus Pro II (24J). I can say that the i15 Pro has been the most effective at removing hair by far. It removes more hair and removes it faster. I’m talking mostly about stomach and chest hair.The JOVS Venus Pro II is the best for ergonomics and it’s unique design makes it easier to use in hard to reach areas, but it just isn’t as effective as the Salloot i15 Pro.If you are looking for an IPL device then make sure it lists the maximum energy output. All these at-home devices are highly underpowered compared to the laser devices used by pros and so it’s important to get one that is in the upper range power wise. I wouldn’t bother with anything under 20J or anything that doesn’t list it’s max energy output. The 100 watts this device advertises has more to do with how fast it recharges the capacitor. It means that you can complete your sessions faster than a device with less wattage. If you remember high school physics, joules is a total amount of energy where wattage (watt = joules/sec) is the RATE at which energy is used. The other features like ice cooling and the different levels and modes are really not important as they all pretty much include these features and they have more to do with comfort and little or nothing do do with effectiveness.The only things I don’t like about this device is that it is easy to accidentally hit the touch pad and inadvertently change the settings. Also, it will overheat and automatically shut down if you use it in the PHR quad-pulse mode continuously for more than 10 minutes. If this happens then just unplug the device, wait 10 seconds and then plug it back in.One last thing… Some people and advertisers list these as laser hair removal. To be clear these are NOT lasers. Lasers use a single wavelength (color) of light. These IPL devices use a much wider spectrum (white light).

Salloot IPL Trinity i15 Pro is a high-performance at-home hair removal device. It is a pro grade product and it doesn’t look cheap.One of the nice features is the iced cool head which makes it more comfortable during the laser pulses.The device has multiple options for different body parts and different intensity levels to choose from.Performance so far seems pretty good. Just note that this technology is most effective on light to medium skin tones with dark hair. It may not be suitable for very dark skin tones or very light hair colors.The size of the device is manageable, the head is large enough to cover body parts in a short amount of time.Altogether it is a high performance and easy to use product and I’m excited to use it for longer term results.

Easy to use with no pain
This product is so easy to use and I love the app that coordinates the schedule. I bought one that was $300 and returned it because it was not user-friendly at all and this one works so much better! Highly recommend it!

Good IPL Overall
This IPL Laser Hair Remover is a great way to manage personal hair. It’s main differentiating feature is a dual-light design, that adds greater coverage than other devices like this. Surface area treated is effectively doubled, and this cuts down the application time significantly. I had great results with this product, but make sure your skin tone works with these IPL removers. The handheld device itself, is good, but it is pretty bulky, moreso than others I have used – and it just has a bit more of an industrial feel to it, so I removed one star because of this. However – that being said it does a great job at its main purpose, with no pain, irritation, and best of all – fast and long lasting results. This is a great product overall, and absolutely professional level.

Llevo un par de semanas usando esta depiladora y la verdad es que estoy encantado. Es muy potente y se tarda poquísimo en terminar cualquier zona, mucho más rápido de lo que imaginaba. Lo que más destaco es que es completamente indolora, ya que el cristal que tiene se mantiene frío durante todo el uso. Hay que enlazarla con una app que es muy práctica, ya que te hace un seguimiento diario y ajusta la intensidad según tu tono de piel y vello, lo cual me parece un puntazo. Por otro lado, destacar su pantalla táctil y la relación calidad-precio, que me parece excelente para todo lo que ofrece. Muy buena compra, la recomiendo sin ninguna duda.
