Good Fahrenheit sensor & easy to mod to read Celsius.
Overall, this is a pretty decent and super low-cost hygrometer. While I normally prefer my reading is Fahrenheit there are occasions where I would prefer it in Celsius (such as when enclosed inside a 3D printer that normally displays in Celsius.)Thus, I opened it up to see why I couldn’t switch between the two. The answer is simply you *could* if the wired in a latching switch (or jumper pin), but instead the F to C setting is set via a small solder blob which acts as an electrical bridge between two pads (nicely labeled with an “F” on my board.) All you need is a decent soldering iron & some copper solder wick to remove the blob of solder. Then simple reassemble and viola Celsius readings!

Accurate
I like that they are small so they donât bother my lizards. Temperature measurements are accurate.My only complaint is that they do not come with a battery stopper. So the batteries are using power while in storage before they are purchased. I had to replace the batteries within a week of having them.

Somewhat Accurate
Not sure what to think about these. They all read differently by a couple percentage points of humidity. Bought them to monitor things in the grow tent. The high-end temp gauge is much more trustworthy, while these things seem to be off a bit. I suppose for the price they’re fine, as long as you don’t want super accurate readings. They’re worth the price for the functionality.

Highly inaccurate hygrometers. Do NOT use these for anything important
These hygrometers are wildly inaccurate. I have another hygrometer that I use and after I got this 3 pack and left them side by side in a room for a week, all 3 of them had vastly different humidity readings. I’m not talking just a few percent either, I’m talking about one said 41%, another said 56%, the third said 78%, and the other one that I’ve had for years (which I already know is accurate) said 67%.They’re also very difficult to read unless your looking at it head on. If you’re off to side even a little bit, it’s very difficult to read.The size is great, they’re a little under 2″ long and about 3/4″ wide which would be perfect for a humidor (what I purchased them for) but they’re so inaccurate that I will absolutely not be using them.
