I own this thermometer and have liked it for when I need it! Itâs affordable, accurate, easy to use, easy to hold and I have never run into it being out of battery in between use. Ultimately just makes my life easier! I attended a baby shower recently for a first time mom and I decided to pack a reusable storage box with a bunch of nice to have essentials as my gift. Along with other items, I purchased this thermometer again to include along with some other sick-day essentials- I figured best case, maybe they donât have a baby thermometer yet and if they do, can you ever have enough thermometers? Will be a good one to keep in a travel bag, in the car, with a nanny, etc.Anyway, I like that not only do I like it for myself but that itâs also an accurate and affordable option for babies and children, too. I will buy again and again for the next ones!

Easy to use and accurate
We were replacing our old oral stick thermometers. Although they were digital and easy to read they were top heavy and uncomfortable to use. Also their accuracy wasn’t spot on. When we knew that we didn’t have a fever it would state 97 degrees instead of something closer to 98.6 degrees. So we always had to guess what the actual reading was.This unit is completely the opposite. It is spot on and easy to read and understand. The huge bonus is the speed in which it works. No waiting for two minutes to get a reading. It is immediate. I am very pleased with this unit.

We purchased this thermometer due to the high number of ratings as well as the 4.5 average. When my fiance and I started feeling feverish, we wanted a quick and easy way to keep tabs on our temps and this promised to even let us check on each other while they slept.Unfortunately, this thermometer was not even remotely accurate. It failed to note me as having a high temp for the first day that we used it and I started feeling a bit better, so I attributed it to that. My fiance had started feeling bad then, but again, there was no fever according to this thermometer. Again, we just accepted this as the truth.On day 2 of my fiance’s slowly worsening condition, I have gotten readings between 97.6-102.0 within seconds of each other, no two agreeing. I double-checked the instructions to make sure I wasn’t doing something wrong and tested it again on my own forehead. I got 99.6, then after a few minutes tried again and it was 97.6. Meanwhile, my fiance had an oral thermometer reading of 99.4 and when I tried again with this new thermometer, it read 97.6. We went back and forth between us a few times and it kept saying 98.0 no matter who was scanned.At this point, I can’t even remotely trust and certainly not recommend purchasing this thermometer. I can’t believe how inaccurate this is, and how dangerous this inaccuracy could be if we didn’t have an oral thermometer to fall back on. It is non-returnable, so please don’t purchase this lightly. I was able to get a refund via Amazon’s customer support but I cannot guarantee that will be the case if you have the same result that we did.

Une pépite! Super pratique pour prendre la température à la maison, que ce soit pour moi ou mes enfants. La lecture rapide et le code couleur (vert, orange, rouge) facilitent vraiment la compréhension des résultats. En plus, il est petit, léger, et la prise de température sans toucher est un jeu d’enfant. Un bémol, il n’est pas connecté, mais honnêtement, je m’en fiche.
