Take your lysine 500 to1000 mg per day and use this if you have a flare up. I get flare ups on my lips and chin area from extreme stress, too much sun on my face, or eating nuts, peas, peaches, or oats. This balm is amazing. Rub some on several times throughout the day and keep some on your nightstand for night. Start as soon as you feel the tingle or a little bump under the skin. This keeps it from becoming a real ugly problem better than anything. But don’t forget your Lysine and you should rarely have an outbreak.

CHECK THE EXP DATES!
Works like a charm but definitely recommend checking the expiration dates when receiving the package. My fault on this order, but I ordered this product in May of 2024 thinking I needed it right away, but I didnât and someone I know wanted to try it out since I have a new one and I finally saw (Feb 2025) what the expiration date to be 12/22. Totally caught me off guard, will definitely be checking more thoroughly every time now since I didnât get to check until now and itâs already way too late to return or dispute it. Just a heads up to check the exp dates! The product itself is great! Works fast and makes cold sores go away fast.
