Reasonably-priced, reliable, heat-tolerant, simple thermometers
I have eight of these throughout my house, in my garage, and in the attic of my two-story house. Here are my thoughts:What I like:- Inexpensive.- Reliable. I bought my first pair of these in June, 2021. I haven’t had a single issue with any of them over the four years.- Small and unobtrusive. I don’t need to view these directly, so I don’t need a large display with a backlight (which these don’t have).- Accurate within a degree here or there. I’m not living in a nuclear reactor, so I don’t need incredible precision. It doesn’t matter to me that my attic temp is 130 degrees when these thermometers read 131.- It’s easy to scroll left and right when viewing temp data over time.- Zero issues in my hot Central Texas attic. Temps in there can soar to over 130 degrees, but the attic thermometer has performed like a champ.What’s “meh”:- Refreshing the data on the app sometimes fails to connect, so I have to refresh multiple times to track temps. It’s not a huge deal, and I have never failed completely to refresh, but I wish this were easier. That being said, your phone might have better Bluetooth than my iPhone 13.What I don’t like:- There’s a foldable stand and a hanging hole on the back, but no magnet for mounting. I would like to hang one directly on the side of a metal shelving unit in my garage, but instead have to stand it on a shelf.I haven’t bothered to try downloading data from the app. Not a concern for me.

Very Helpful for Reptile Owners
I bought these for my ball python enclosure specifically to keep track of humidity, and they work very well. They are more accurate than some other digital hygrometers that I have had before. In fact I bought these to replace the other digital hygrometers that I had that were beginning to become unreliable, so they are definitely worth the extra money. Another really helpful feature is that it can connect to your phone and show you what the temperatures and humidity levels have been over the past day, week, or month. It’s helpful to be able to keep track of how those levels change over time, but being able to see the readings on your phone is nice for when you put the device in a spot that isn’t visible from outside the tank. Now I don’t have to open the tank and move things to be able to see temps and humidity. I definitely recommend this for anyone who has a reptile or other pet that requires certain temperatures and/or humidity.

Needs time for readings to settle down.
I live in a 750 sq ft apartment and anywhere in my apartment, the bluetooth connection between this device and my phone stays strong.The main problem with this hygrometer thermometer is that the temperature and humidity readings are always higher than normal when I move the device to a new location and it has been there for less than 24 hours. It means that if you want to be moving it around to measure the relative temperature and humidity, you’ll be getting wrong readings unless you let it sit there for a long period of time.In the picture of the 3 devices, after the 2 small devices being in my closet for 24 hours, you can see it having the same exact humidity with my other small device. The big one was moved to the closet just to see how long it’ll take for it to reach the same temperature and humidity as the two small ones. I waited about 5 minutes and the big one almost caught up with the small ones.In the picture showing the current device and the big one, you can see this current device having higher readings. No matter where I move both, the current one always have higher readings until I left it for 24 hours in closet. So I believe the big one is the most consistent when moved to different areas compared to the small ones.

Very useful for monitoring room temperature fluctuations overnight with varying air conditioning settings, especially for kids’ room so you know if the setting is comfortable for sleep. with bluetooth and app, you can download the data once in a while to check; no need to monitor in realtime!With 2 AAA batteries, you can use this gadget for as long as it last; not limited by the lifespan of rechargeable built-in battery. and 2 AAAs? – because even number is always better!

Used this on the shaded portion of an outdoor balcony to hell gauge temperature and humidity for more sensitive plants in my collection. Temperature and humidity seem accurate and the app has been working seamlessly without issues. The hygrometer itself is small and fairly slim and easy to slot between pots. Itâs a bit lightweight so I would be a bit cautious about wind but if you secure it to the wall it should be fine. No complaints!

I received the device in a sealed box and good condition. The Govee Home app helps me calibrate the Hygrometer, check the battery status and keep track of past readings. I will purchase it again if I need one. If you think that the sensor reading is not accurate, you need to calibrate it.ADD: After using it, I bought a 2nd time for my bedroom. The one on the right has been calibrated when I first using it. The one on the left was the one I just received and without any calibration. As you can see, the readings on both devices is almost indentical.
