Tingle Anyone?
First let me start off by saying that I am an African American with bra strap length curly, coily natural hair. I first heard of this product through YouTube. I needed a cleansing shampoo with either tea tree oil or peppermint for my often itchy scalp. The Giovanni’s tea tree triple treat shampoo contains botanical oils such as cooling peppermint, conditioning rosemary and clarifying eucalyptus, all a plus! when I received the shampoo I was immediately impressed by the shape of the container and how it felt while holding it. Most shampoo products are cylinder in shape which is hard to hold once it gets wet and soapy especially in the shower. The Giovanni’s is a rectangle shaped bottle, that allows for a better grip while in your hand. Now on to the product itself. The fragrance is fresh and tingly you can definitely smell the peppermint. It gives a really nice lather and yes, you can feel the tingle. What I love most about this product is how fresh and clean it makes my scalp feel. Also the fact my hair never feels stripped after using is a major plus! But. Do not make the mistake of getting it in your eyes!! Your eyes will burn therefore I don’t reccommend this product for small children. And note that if you use this product in the shower your backside will tingle as well. Overall I am really pleased with the shampoo and as a matter of fact i;m on my second bottle.

I bought this for my husband, because the “men’s” brand he normally uses has a powerful, artificial scent that literally makes it so I can’t go into the bathroom for an hour after he showers without triggering a migraine or nausea. So my expectation was just that it wouldn’t make me sick, but it’s so much more than that! In fact, I’ve been using it myself. This has a pleasant, not-overpowering scent of mint and eucalyptus. It has a lovely tingle on the scalp but not the ice-cold shiver of some tea tree brands. It’s also sulfate-free, which is AMAZING because it’s not only healthier, but it allows me to use it on my color-treated hair without risk of stripping it. It doesn’t foam up as much as conventional shampoos with SLS, but it’s definitely above-average in foaming for a sulfate free shampoo. It leaves my long wavy hair smooth, fresh, and shiny. I’ll be buying this by the gallon from now on.

Best SLS free shampoo I’ve tried.
I’ve been looks for what feels like forever for a good shampoo that doesn’t contain Sodium Lauryl Sulfate. I FINALLY found what I was looking for in this tea tree shampoo. Other sulfate-free shampoos left my hair feeling limp and still dirty, while this shampoo leaves my hair fresh, clean, shiny, and bouncy. I can even go a couple days without shampooing and still have clean hair, something I could never do previously. I also love how this shampoo has no lasting scent. Other shampoos with lasting scents always interfere with the scent of whatever perfume I’m wearing. I don’t get much scalp tingle from the shampoo like other reviewers have noted, but I can tell my scalp is much healthier because of the tea tree oil. I’m so happy to say that I’ve finally found a shampoo I’m completely happy with after years of looking! I’m looking forward to trying to matching conditioner.

Thankfully when the shampoo arrived it was in a sealed bag so it didn’t get all over my order. But it was a pain to get out of the bag and into the shower.I have a pixie cut, very fine hair, but a lot of it. It’s rather flat on its own, and tends to get oily easy.I liked this shampoo but it really didn’t leave a nice shine in my hair. It kind of felt a bit straw-like. The smell is super nice, especially for the morning but it didn’t last throughout the day which is something I personally want out of a shampoo.I am glad it is cruelty free. That’s the main reason why I tried it. But overall it’s just an okay shampoo.

So I’ve had dread for three years and I’ve tried several types the charcoal bar by knotty boy, which made my hair feel dry but squeeky clean, nothing special about the smell, I’ve tried deadhead shampoo which I liked for the first bottle but for $45 I thought there has to be better solutions that cost less. But I purchased it twice and was not as happy with the scent on the second bottle so I searched again for a replacement and reviews and heard about this shampoo. I looked forward to a Tingley scalp. I definitely felt the difference of clearing my scalp pores it felt releasing but not Tingley. I did have a cooling sensation that lingered slightly. I enjoyed the smell and the lather was nicer and my dreads felt really clean and very soft. Which was a great improvement from the last shampoo and it was half the price of the last shampoo so thank you for adding to my quality of life! I have healthier happier clean dreads!

Un producto excelente y hasta ahora el único champú que me ha gustado de los tantos que he probado.Me viene genial para los dolores de pelo (algunos champús me resecan la raÃz del pelo y me duele la zona de la coronilla al molerlo para colocármelo cuando viene rachas de viento (tengo el pelo largo) y tocarme esa zona, con este champú con aceite del árbol del té este problema de desapareció. Creo que esto se debe a que me he lavado con otros productos para cabello graso ya que lo tengo realmente graso y me lo suelo lavar todos los dÃas o 1 dÃa si y otro no y estos y aunque suelo usar productos sin siliconas, ni sulfatos ,parece ser que son agresivos para mi cabeza. No es el caso de este, con el que me aguanta mas o menos 2 dÃas el pelo limpio (depende de lo que haya hecho en el dÃa) y no me resulta agresivo para el cuero cabelludo y ademas al primer lavado se me fue el dolor que tenia.Me gusta su olor a menta que genera una sensación de limpieza y frescor en la cabeza que se agradece sobretodo en verano tras un dÃa de calor

I have stopped using harsh chemical shampoos for over two years now and I have been looking for THE ONE ever since. Well… this is it! It is the only natural shampoo I have found that cleans hair perfectly, removes just the right amount of oils (probably the awesome tea tree oil), foams up enough to get the pleasure of a good shower and smells really nicely. I am just sorry I can’t find it in my local health store.
