Good derma roller.
I got this derma roller for my facial skin and to help stimulate my hair follicles on my face. The needles are very gentle and provide a gentle experience. It is very easy to use and clean and it does not hurt at all, did not experience any redness and did not irritate my skin. The quality seems to be very good. The device seems well made and sturdy. Make sure to clean it with alcohol after every use and let it air dry.

So far so good
This is working pretty well. I wasn’t sure whether or not I’d keep it. Because it was really squeaky every time I rolled it. But magically that stopped and now it rolls smoothly. I seems like it helps with the delicate skin around aging eyes. It is kind of pricey for how tiny it is.

Still not sure about it
I think this derma roller is ergonomic and comes nicely packaged. I was a little nervous about the needle aspect (as I had never used something like this before) but discovered it is not painful at all- more like slightly invigorating. Maybe I need a little more instant gratification (other than the invigorating part), but I have been using it for around 3 weeks and haven’t really noticed any change in my skin. I plan to be patient and keep at it, because it is easy to use, and update if merited.

Nice compact unit.
So far I think this is a nifty little device. It doesn’t take up much space in my drawer and is easily accessible to me when I need it. I’m not exactly sure that I’ve seen any results yet but I’m hopeful I will Over time. My husband has a different one for his beard so I’m hoping to see some benefits too. I like mine better than my husbands so I would recommend this one.

too expensive
I’ve never used a micro needle roller before so I don’t have anything to compare it to. I will update after a month of use to see if I’ve gotten noticeable results. I like that the roller has replaceable heads (better for the environment and also can change out the needle sizes if desired). I was afraid to try it, but it wasn’t as painful as I was expecting. If you’ve ever stepped on a stinging nettle plant in the yard, this is not as bad as that and the “sting” only last for the second the needles roll over. I didn’t have any pain after using it. I applied fractionated coconut oil to my face after each use, like I do every night anyway. I have only used it twice (suggested use is twice a week), so probably not enough time to judge if it is changing my skin. It is easy to use. The directions suggest disinfecting it, so get some rubbing alcohol before using. There is a QR code to scan for a video that says to watch before using and I was a little annoyed that it was very long and too detailed and not just instructions on how to use. I would prefer simple, written instructions. Assuming it works as described (after more time), there are quite a few other similar products available that way less expensive, so do your research before purchasing. Seems expensive compared to most of the others, even with replaceable rollers.

No visible results after two weeks
I was curious to try the Gin Amber Derma Roller, but sadly, after a two-week trial, I have seen no visible results. I have used the roller a total of six times over the two weeks (instructions indicate to use it twice per week), followed by your regular routine of serums and moisturizers. The .25mm needles are not particularly painful, just a slight tingle. The unit is also very utilitarian in appearance, rather than aesthetically pleasing, as a spa treatment item should be. Unfortunately, I will not continue the use of the derma roller in my regular skin care routine.

Still on the fence
I’m still on the fence with this as really the idea kind of scares me but I thought I’d give it a try. Seems hygienic if you’re using it properly and replacing it properly. Just be careful when using it as it can cause discomfort and irritation if overused or used incorrectly. I understand the idea behind it so I’m hoping long-term results will be beneficial.

Good quality – unclear where to get replacement heads
I must say that I was intimidated to use this product when I got it because of the actual needles. But when I tried it for the first time, it wasn’t painful at all. My goal was to get rid of some light stretch marks. I didn’t see any noticeable results – but I also didn’t use it long enough to know if it will work since the recommended time is once every 6 weeks. However, regarding the quality of the product, it came in a sanitary sealed container. It felt good in the hand ergonomically and the hard case is compact. It is great to see that the product is certified for safety which might contribute to the higher price tag than some of the alternatives. I don’t see an option to purchase replacement heads which would make me hesitant to buy this as a new customer.
