Works To Well, Wasnât Prepared for the Hairball
I usually receive my Amazon purchases and use them without ever feeling the need to leave a review.However within two minutes of using this product I was talking out loud to myself how Iâm not sure the reviews could even describe how amazing the Drain Weasel is.My shower was very, very clogged. It had been draining slowly but when I looked in after my last shower the next day, standing water.It took two min to understand the directions and assemble the tool, it worked within the first 10 seconds of use when a giant hair clog came out, which was both amazing and made me wonder if I was starting to go bald.This was a stubborn clog, I had to work at it for 30 min but the tool kept going. It was easy to use and kept pulling things out of the drain that both impressed me and made me me queasy.The only complaint I have is cleaning the end of the tool is a little difficult once the hair starts to stick to it, making it less âgrippyâ over time. The literature says you can sterilize and reuse the that part but after seeing what was attach to it there was no way I was going to do that. I also donât fault the tool too much on this point, I needed up eventually pulling out a rat sized hairball from the back of my shower drain, so there was a TON of hair in there.I would happily buy this tool again and am already planning on using it on a problem sink this week. It is well worth the money.

This works so well! I have a drain issue for the longest time that I bought this & drano. But I didnât even have to use the drano and my sink clog was fixed! Very sturdy & easy to use! Definitely recommend this, if you want to save your money. This works great & I have not had any drain sink issue since then!

Awesome device. Had a bathtub that wasnât draining properly due to long hair from kids. Once I got this it took me 10mins to unclog it. Itâs flexible, easy to use, and can fit in any hole. Once inside you can twist the device and itâll grab a ton of hair.The biggest con is taking the hairs off at end. Youâll be able to get 90% of it off by initially. However the rest needs to be run under water and pulled off continuously to look the same as before. Nevertheless buy it now!

I thought this item was too flimsy to work but was pleasantly surprised. It took care of my drain…no problems. The only reason I didn’t give it a 5 star rating the hair is difficult to get off the object.

Effective and affordable
Surprisingly effective. I was slightly worried when I got it because it just looks like a kids toy or something, but it fits into the drain even when you can’t get the stopper out and it grabs everything. Very quick and easy without having to take your plumbing apart. It is not meant to replace or handle the clogs way down in the drain. Just those about a foot or less below the plug. Our tub was taking an hour or more to drain and within a few times sticking this thing down there it was draining immediately. Highly recommend for keeping on hand and using as a regular maintenance item for sinks and tubs to keep them hair and gunk free before it becomes a plumbing issue or for those times you would think to use chemicals like draino. Use this instead.

Quick and Easy Way to Clear Bathroom Drains Without Harsh Chemicals
I try to stay away from toxic chemicals. I’ve used vinegar and baking soda with some success. But, I decided to try this Drain Weasel tool because it looked simple and safe to use, especially since we have an older home with sensitive pipes. It took me less than five minutes to figure it out and get started. The wand is thin and flexible enough to slide deep into the drain, even when the path isnât straight. I pulled it out after the first try and was shocked by how much hair and gunk it grabbed. Honestly, it was kind of gross, but also satisfying. I used a second wand just to make sure I got everything, and the water started draining fast again like it used to. The handle feels sturdy, and I like that you can pop in a fresh wand when needed. It’s also nice that the whole thing doesn’t take up much storage space. The ten included refills mean I wonât need to buy another pack for a while. This is a great little tool to keep under the sink for routine cleaning or emergencies.

Best $20 I have ever spent!!! I tried Draino and The Gobbler neither could unclog it! Used The Weasel and boom hair removed and drain cleared and draining great now!!! Highly recommend! Used on both tub and sink and wow the hair it got!!!

I don’t usually leave reviews on products that I’ve used but I have to on this! This worked absolutely perfectly for us – our drain was clogged with so much hair that it became super slow to drain. Hooked this up in less than 10 seconds and pushed it all the way down the hole and used the spin thing to bring it up and within 3 goes our entire drain was hair free! It’s a bit annoying that it’s a one use type of product but I can leave with that considering we ordered the 6 piece one.

Simply amazing, unclogged my shower drain in seconds and it was not hard to use at all! It fit the holes in my shower drain so I didn’t need to try and take it apart, which was good cause my drian has been grouted over. Best of all, no harsh chemicals needed!

One hook was pretty much I needed to clean out the filth in my bathroom sink!At first I did not expect to have much hair and filth clogged in the sink, so I pushed the hook all the way down till it could not go further, rotated the handle a few times and suddenly I felt the tension as I tried to pull up the snake. I thought the hook was not strong enough and worried that it could break. But as soon as I put more force pulling up, the amount of hair captured was beyond astonishing!Used another two hooks to make sure that the drain was clean enough. Overall, a happy purchase! Minimal storage space required!
