Best budget toner I’ve tried
I recently went back to bleaching my hair .(best decision I’ve made since the beginning of the pandemic – I love fun colors, but blonde looks good on me. I also chopped all my hair off, so whether I’m going through a phase or just manic? Who knows.)Point is, I wanted something to make it look nice and … not yellow. I don’t have money to go spend at a salon. It’s extremely expensive to get your hair bleached by a professional – I have just enough money to buy box bleach and make questionable decisions. This does the job – for toning that is, does nothing for the questionable decisions – and leaves my hair looking blonde, not bronze.I will say that I do apply it differently than many people might. I have fine, thick hair. And while I did lob it off into a pixie cut thanks to Georgia having the temperatures of the Devil’s nether regions, I’d still like to keep what little of it I have looking nice and fresh – not fried. This shampoo isn’t exactly moisturizing or softening. It’s a shampoo carrying a coloring agent. So.. I treat it as such.Don’t be surprised by how dark the color is. I was at first, and only used it in the shower for about 5 minutes. It didn’t do much for me. I came out looking much the same.I want to clarify once again, these are the decisions I make in applying this product – this isn’t a recommendation. But it sure as hell works for me.1) Starting with dry hair, I plop this bad bitch on with some gloves on. DON’T FORGET THE GLOVES. It will stain your hands – but not the rest of your body. My biologist mother would probably have something to say about it being the way your hand skin is different from the skin on the rest of your body. Science and I are casual lovers.2) I leave it on for anywhere from 25-40 minutes. It really depends on if I forget to set the timer or not. I usually forget to set the timer. I’m typing this review while still forgetting to set the timer – yes, I have it on right now, and am continuing to choose writing this instead of rubbing my two braincells together. Don’t be like me.3) Shower time! Rinse it all out. You may notice your hair feels a bit dry – once again, this isn’t a moisturizing shampoo. It’s less than $20 on amazon, don’t get your hopes up. Instead, go in with a moisturizing mask. My hair needs some serious TLC, and the best moisturizer I’ve found for myself is Shea Moisture’s Purple Rice Water Strength & Color Care Masque. I leave that and my skincare mask on for about 5 minutes while i wash my body, shave whatever I feel up to shaving that day, you know the deal. At least I assume it’s 5 minutes. You know by now my track record with timers.4) Rinse that equally bad bitch out. Your hair will feel much much softer. I add this step now for my wonder bread cousins. Our hair can look oily as hell if we just moisturize it – it probably doesn’t know how to be treated right because we were raised on 3 in 1 bodywash, shampoo, and conditioner. Forgive it. Be patient with it. Go in with a good quality moisturizing shampoo. I use my Function of Beauty shampoo, and then follow that slight rinse up with my FoB conditioner. I may be gaslighting my hair. It’s okay, it looks fine at the end of it all.5) After letting that conditioner sit for the normal amount of time I let any conditioner sit, which is usually about a minute or two. I then rinse it out til I don’t feel sticky. Finish up my shower routine, and at the end I put in my leave in conditioner. It’s also a FoB product. I swear by the stuff, but this isn’t a review for that. I’m gonna run out soon, and I have enough depression as it is. Lets change the subject. You should have beautifully toned hair!I will remind you not to make any decisions on if you like it or not UNTIL YOUR HAIR FULLY DRIES. Your hair will always look more bronze when it’s wet. When my hair dries it’s a completely different animal, and thanks to me adding that conditioning routine, it’s soft as well. If that sounds like a lot of steps… well, it is. Your hair doesn’t work for free. But I promise it doesn’t take long. If you think 25-30 minutes in the shower for your FULL hair and body routine is a long time, you may have other issues that need addressing. But hey, I’m not a therapist.At the end of the day, I LOVE this stuff. And it’s a gigantic bottle. I mean, about the length of my small dog. I’ll get a lot of wear out of this stuff. I don’t recommend washing your hair every day, and I don’t recommend doing this deep cleanse and tone more than once a week. Wash your body all you want, but let your hair breathe. Dry shampoo is your friend.5/5 stars for affordability and function. Now let me go set my timer.

Effective and good value
Iâve tried a few purple shampoos and this one feels very reliable and has lasted me a long time. Itâs very pigmented and I would definitely have stains all over my shower if I didnât have a detachable shower head to rinse everything off right after putting this in my hair. It dyes my skin a little bit because I donât use gloves, but most of it washes off with soap so it doesnât bother me too much. Sometimes I will see a faint purple where my part is on my scalp, but again, not enough to be obvious.I see a noticeable difference in brassiness when I use it. It doesnât need to stay on my hair for very long to take effect. I like to use a strong conditioner after this shampoo because it does dry my hair out slightly.

This is the best purple shampoo on the market. If you want your hair to turn purple the longer you leave on the darker purple! itâs pretty amazing. I love it!! Well this is definitely a must have for blonde hair. Amazing.I canât understand the bad comments, which could put some people off from purchasing.It works, 100%, without question. Maybe some people donât know how to use it, but thatâs not an excuse for a bad review. (When you use this product for so long and then read some of those comments, theyâre actually amusing, as they just canât be true.)If you have blonde hair/highlights/balayage it is the best at neutralising those orangey tones. Check all those before and after pictures, check their Instagram account!I donât think it works on darker hair, thatâs why they have a different shampoo for that.Having said that, I have dark roots and when I use it, it works on all my hair, not only the blonde bits.I have been using it for a few years. There are different ways to apply it. Usually, when Iâm in the shower, I shampoo my hair once, rinse it, then apply a generous amount of Fanola (double the quantity of my regular shampoo). I massage it well, until it creates that foam and it becomes a lighter shade of purple. I bring all my hair up, like in a bun, and try to gather all the excess foam on the âbunâ, as this holds the lighter ends of my hair. I leave it 5-10 mins, while I wash my body, then rinse it well (specially the scalp!), then condition as usual. I do this once a week maybe.Or, for more intense results, I apply it and get out of the shower, leaving it longer, maybe 20 mins. Then rinse and condition as usual.Works without fail.The results are amazing, colour doesnât turn you hair into purple or blue (that means your hair is really damaged due to bleach, or you just havenât followed the process right!!). Not to mention the smell, softness and the nice feel it gives to your hair! Feels like youâve been to the hairdressers, honestly.It has been recommended to me by a hairdresser, I have recommended it to other people and would never buy another brand. Iâm quite sure this is the best you can get.I have the 1L bottle, and lasts forever.I have to mention my hair is not in great condition either, but this product makes me forget about any split ends, thinning or hair loss.You will NOT regret buying this.

Flasche kam gut verpackt mit Füllmaterial gegen StöÃe unbeschädigt bei mir an, allerdings war ein Klecks Shampoo auÃen am Deckel. Eventuell etwas ausgelaufen? Oder schon mal getestet und von jemand anderem zurück gesendet? Das finde ich nicht so prickelnd, hier wäre es schön, wenn der Hersteller/Verkäufer mit einem Plastikschutz nachrüstet.Das Päckchen kam gestern, am Dienstag, bei mir an â ursprüngliches garantiertes Lieferdatum war für Freitag vorgesehen â daher ein groÃer Pluspunkt für die schnelle(re) Lieferung!Die Beschreibung des Produktes sowie die Beschreibung der Anwendung ist direkt auf der Flasche in diversen Sprachen bedruckt, auch in Deutsch.ðð¼ââï¸ Anwendung:Ich habe mich ein wenig an vorangehenden Bewertungen orientiert und hatte deshalb vorher schon Handschuhe und eine Haarkur bereit gelegt. ð Ich begann, meine Haare nach Anleitung nass zu machen und sie dann mit zwei groÃen Klecksen einzuschäumen.Die empfohlene Anwendungsdauer von 1,5 Minuten auf der Verpackung erschien mir zu wenig, ich lieà das Shampoo also 3 Minuten einwirken. Man sieht tatsächlich einen Unterschied direkt nach der Anwendung.Bei ungefärbten, naturblonden Haaren wird sich allerdings keine Veränderung einstellen.Möchte man hier einen anderen Farbton, kommt man ums Färben bzw. eine Intensivtönung nicht drum herum.Ich würde dieses Silbershampoo auch dann empfehlen, wenn man beim Friseur eine GrauâTönung über die Blondierung bekommen hat für einen âaschigerenâ Farbton im Haar oder wenn man generell einen aschigen/kühlen Farbton gefärbt bekommen hat. Als Anschluss darauf, immer mal wieder benutzt, bleibt die Haarfarbe dann so schön wie beim Friseur und wird nicht immer wärmer/gelbstichiger über die Zeit. ðDie Einwirkzeit kann man variieren, ich denke, hier muss jeder selbst schauen und ausprobieren, wie stark man es am liebsten hätte. Ich werde das nächste Mal auf 5â6 Minuten erhöhen, ich hätte es gerne noch stärker. ðZu den Handschuhen: Diese würde ich tatsächlich unbedingt empfehlen und die Dusche/Wanne sollte direkt wieder sauber gemacht werden, sonst bleibt tatsächlich ein lila Farbschleier dort, der sich kaum noch weg schrubben lässt!Der Preis ist schon happig, aber für die Menge und Wirkung gerechtfertigt! 1 x die Woche angewendet hält dieses Shampoo locker ein Jahr.Insgesamt bin ich sehr zufrieden und bereue den Kauf überhaupt nicht!
