This is a well made comb with a nicely polished wood that feels lush, with its lovely colours and natural ebony wood grain features.The teeth are quite wide apart so rather than as a comb, I found the best use was to pass it through the hair to give a gentle massage. It can also be gently drawn over the scalp to give an even more relaxing sensation. This probably does do some parasympathetic system activation as one does feel very relaxed afterwards.As for value for money, if indeed it is real ebony wood (I have no reason to doubt it), then to have a piece like this is to have something that will last many many years. And wood does not build up static in the hair unlike a plastic comb, so I would say give this a try – you may find it effective in bring some untangled calm!

There’s not much to say about this product as it is so simple, but it works perfectly! It is made from a high quality ebony wood, feels very robust and the curved shape design makes it easy to hold and brush with. I have mid-length hair and it helps give it a bit of texture with my layers before starting the day as well as smoothing out tangles. It is only 9cm in length so can easily be travelled with as well. I use it every day now so all in all its a 100% recommendation from me.

Comfortable to run over the scalp. Not sharp or painful to use though be careful with pressure. It’s nice to use this on my longer hair to ensure oils are fully distributed while giving myself a scalp massage.
