Solid toothbrush with a few quirks
I was excited to try this bamboo electric toothbrush because I was looking forward to retiring my old one. Overall, it does a great job cleaning, and I appreciate the variety of brush heads and five different modes. The different settings are a nice touch, though figuring out how to cycle through them took a little trial and error. The instructions aren’t extremely clear.Compared to my previous electric toothbrush, this one feels a bit less powerful, but it still gets the job done. I do like the built-in 30-second alerts, which help remind me to move to a new section of my mouth. However, I wish it wouldnât shut off automatically after two minutes. I’m not always finished brushing by then.Despite these minor quirks, itâs a solid toothbrush.. If youâre looking for a gentle option, this one might be worth considering.

I’ve been using Sonicare toothbrushes pretty much all my life, so I was really interested in trying this toothbrush to see how it compared. Overall, I’m impressed!The bamboo is kind of fun. although the handle certainly feels like plastic and there looks to be plastic as the core of the toothbrush, so I can’t say whether it really is a “bamboo” toothbrush. The heads seem to be constructed at least in part from wood or bamboo. Overall, the toothbrush is little lighter than my classic-version Sonicare.It’s easy in the hand. In typical fashion, I just used it without reading the instructions. The head I grabbed ended up being the tapered PBT, which is much softer than my old brush and much more dense. I can feel a lot happening on the surface of my teeth with this brush.The brush gives different modes, like “Clean”, “White”, “Polish”, “Gum Care”, and “Sensitive”, but honestly I couldn’t tell much difference between how they felt, except for the sensitive setting. They are each at a different pitch, so probably different ultrasounds, but for the feel — I couldn’t tell the difference. The standard “Clean” mode worked well and gave a signal after each 30 seconds had passed.I do have trouble in finding the power button by feel when the wand is in my mouth. That’s frustrating because it’s on and if I take it out of my mouth it’s going to splash all over and I can’t take it out of my mouth until I find the button. I wish they’d make the button a little more prominent by feel.Since this is an appliance, I expected to receive a charger or charging adapter with the device. The box doesn’t include a charger (just a braided charging cord), so you’ll need to use your own charging adapter. Hence four stars instead of five.

If you just need an electric toothbrush and don’t care about brand names or anything, it’s tough to do better than this.First off, the brush itself is not bamboo – it just has a bamboo coloring/paint job. What IS bamboo though, are the brush heads.For the price, it’s great value – you get the toothbrush of course, which works well and vibrates just as well as my Sonicare, but you also get 4 brush heads, which is pretty decent.One thing I like about this is that it comes with a nice wireless charging base, which brushes at this price point don’t usually have. Usually those brushes are kinds that you plug in on the bottom. This one is much nicer in that regard.You won’t do much better for an electric toothbrush in this price range.

Keep Your Teeth Clean
I have been using electric toothbrushes from a variety of manufacturers for many years now. This Electric Bamboo Toothbrush is easy to use. You press the power button to cycle through the different styles: Clean, White, Polish, Gum Care and Sensitive. What is helpful is that if you have a preferred cleaning style, it remembers which one you chose after you turn it off. When you turn it on, it automatically goes to that style. The toothbrush is comfortable to hold, and importantly does a great job cleaning your teeth. The only real bamboo is the toothbrush head. Included are 4 toothbrush heads in different styles, so you can determine which one does the best job for you. The body is a faux bamboo print. The charging stand is compact, and convenient to travel with. It uses a micro USB charging cord, and is provided in a color that matches the bamboo.

The base and charger are plastic with a bamboo pattern on them, while the brush heads seem to be made out of bamboo.I have used an electric toothbrush for decades now, but ever an ultrasonic toothbrush (which this one is). While the ultrasonic toothbrush takes getting used to, overall I think it does a better job of cleaning. You get a total of four brush heads in 3 varieties. There is also a 2 minute timer that will shut off the toothbrush at the end.The battery is quite long lasting and you should not have to charge this too often. Itâs probably a good thing as this is my other gripe with it. The plug is a micro USB, as opposed to a USB C. My other gripe is that the location of the plug, which is near the bottom of the charging base, is prone to water damage. This has been the experience of other electric toothbrush chargers that I have used.
