My new favorite SPF
I already liked the brand because it’s vegan and cruelty free, so I had high expectations for this product. ELF did not disappoint. This SPF cream does not leave your face all shiny which is something I’ve been looking for, for a long time, and it doesn’t leave a white residue either. It’s easy to use, doesn’t smell and goes in the skin very quickly. I wish this particular product had a higher SPF than 30, but after looking at the info presented (myths vs reality), a higher SPF isn’t necessarily more effective, so that’s fineI already ordered the bigger size, although the travel pack is easy to always carry on me. I think it would be perfect if it came in a glass container, or was refillable.

This tube is TINY (sample sized)!
I generally use a mineral sunscreen due to my rosecea (some chemicals aggravate my skin) so I wanted to try this sample size before committing to an entire tube. I applied it this morning so these are my first impressions (if anything changes I will provide an update). It goes on easily and definitely has a primer-like silicone feel. My pores look blurred which is nice. Even after an hour it has just the slightest tack which makes me think it would be a good base for foundation (I have decent skin at 66 yo and rarely wear anything over my sunscreen). Although it’s still early morning I have light Irish skin and burn easily – I’ve been having my coffee outside on a hazy day and no color (or irritation) so far – a big win. Unless something changes I will be purchasing the full sized product!

Soaks into skin very well!
OK. I’ve never tried a gel sunscreen before. I was pleasantly surprised at how this glides and soaks into my skin without it feeling like there’s a thick layer of goop on my face. Definitely a little goes a VERY long way. The only thing is that this is very expensive if you want to get a lot of it. I also tried the other name brand that begins with “Super” and I thought this was actually better and cheaper. I don’t think this is meant for a full body SPF, but for faces, it’s pretty darn amazing! Even at the end of the day, I didn’t feel like my skin was icky and gross.

Doesn’t feel like sunscreen, feels and acts like a silicone makeup primer
It’s thin and reminds me of of the face primer Benefit Porefessional. I couldn’t believe the texture! Completely undetectable on the face, completely clear and not greasy/dewy, if anything it might be slightly matte. Not tacky, doesn’t pill, feels like nothing on the skin, wears great under makeup. I have mature, sensitive, very dry (from retin-a), reactive skin. I’ve had sensitivity to avobenzone in the past, but I guess since it’s such a low percentage (3%) in here it doesn’t bother my skin. Supposedly a dupe for the Supergoop! Unseen Sunscreen spf 50 (which i’ve never used), identical sunscreen filters, some identical other ingredients. Pretty good price (like $14 usd for 1.69 ounces). I took away one star because i’ve noticed that if you wear foundation over it, it will make it matte, even a dewy or glowy one (personally I prefer a more dewy finish).

Best face sunscreen around!
I am always weary to try new face sunscreens because I am very acne prone and a lot of them break me out. This is the best face sunscreen I have ever used. It is not greasy AT ALL, it goes well under makeup and does not pill up, didn’t break me out after a week of use on vacation, and has 35 SPF! I will say it does have a slight scent but it is not overbearing at all. Will definitely be my go-to from now on!

Works great and easy to take on the go
To be fair, this is the first face-specific sunscreen I have used so I donât have anything to compare it to but I have been very happy with it so far. I got the 1.7 fl oz bottle and it fits perfectly in my purse so I can take it on the go. The texture is different than a sunscreen or moisturizer and feels slightly oily but once it goes on it blends right in and you donât feel it at all. I put it over my makeup all the time and it works great! I would definitely recommend this sunscreen.

Simply the best!
Iâve been searching for months for a clear sunscreen to wear alone or under makeup and this one checks all the boxes. Itâs silky smooth. I love it!! Not only do you get the sunscreen but you get a smooth base. I recommend it for all ages but it especially works well for 60 year olds.

I wear sunscreen on my face daily. I’ve always had a racket finding one that wasn’t too greasy, or drying, and is not crazy expensive. It is a smaller size container, yet it covers and spreads very nicely, so it should last well just using it as intended for your face.This ELF facial sunscreen is perfectly perfect! It doesn’t have a perfumed coconut type beachy scent, if that’s what you like. Personally, I don’t care for that beachy scent on my face.It has that chemical sunscreen scent that does dissipate soon after applying, so that’s a good thing.This sunscreen applies beautifully and it sort of relaxes the tiny wrinkling that you can see when your facial skin is dry even though you’ve already moisturized.This sunscreen gives my face both that dewey, but not greasy look, and sun protection at the same time.I super like this ELF sunscreen for the face!

Ich habe nach einer guten Alternative zu dem Daily Moisturising Face SPF 50x von Bondi Sands gesucht. Man kann beides nicht miteinader vergleichen, Bondi Sands ist für mich auch gleichzeitig Tagespflege im Sommer + Sonnenschutz. Bei Elf muss man wirklich nur ganz wenig nehmen, da es sonst lange dauert bis es einzieht, zusätzlich ist bei dem Elf Produkt ein Primer mit Bluring-Effect enthalten, welches das Hautbild ausgleicht und Poren minimiert. Fühlt sich etwas an wie ein Gel-Primer. Gute Alternative, aber das nächte Mal greife ich wieder zu Bondi Sands.

Ich ha e sehr empfindlich Haut und vertrage keine tagescreme da ich davon dorek pickel bekomme, ich habe rosazea was die Sache schwer macht. Aber von diesem Gel bin ich begeistert, es braucht nicht viel den sie lässt sich gut verteilen. Sie macht die Haut glatt und weich, der Geruch ist kaum wahrnehmbar minimal würde ich den leichten Geruch nach sonnencreme einstufen aber wirklich nur ganz leicht, es ist kein Geruch der mich stört.
