Quality product worth trying
I have never tried a collagen product before, so I donât have any comparison, but this one seems really high quality and easy to use. Iâm on a steady weight loss journey that has been successful for me, and since I will be losing a substantial amount of weight over time, Iâm assuming that I will have some flaps of skin left over after the fat is gone. I have been strengthening my muscles and core to help alleviate this, as well as drinking LOTS of water and incorporating homemade bone broth into my diet. After doing some research I hoped that taking a collagen supplement might help improve my skinâs elasticity, so I ordered this product based on reviews, ethics and product quality. The first time I tried it I just mixed it with water, which was a mistake for me, because the color, smell and taste was off-putting. Not overwhelming, just a little funky. From then on Iâve just put a scoop in my first cup of coffee, and itâs perfect! It dissolves immediately, and has no significant taste. I have no way of knowing whether this product is as effective as it claims, but I do know that whether itâs all the water Iâm drinking or this supplement, or both, my skin looks smoother and softer. To me itâs worth it to keep going with this so I know Iâm making every effort to diminish the effect of leftover loose skin when I reach my weight loss goals.

UPDATE:So I got the chocolate flavored collagen recently and love this flavor. It’s still easy and quick to mix into liquids like the original, but with a deep smooth chocolate taste. I’ve been adding it to my chocolate protein shake I have daily and it makes my protein shake rich and creamy(protein powder shake alone is thin). The company never dissapoints from their collagen powder and to customer service.I recieved this product about a week ago and have been adding it to different things to try it out. I’ve added it to hot/cold teas(mix powder into cold tea before adding ice), smoothies, chia pudding, yogurt, water with lemon and just plain water. Even in just the plain water there was no strong taste or odor. Nothing! Its mixes into anything easily. If I add it to a liquid I just mix it with my metal straw until its dissolved, which is quickly. The package comes with a scooper inside the bag. The powder is very fine, which probably helps with the mixing. The collagen is also hydrolyzed, which is what you want so your body can absorb it.Overall I recommend the product and will be continuing to purchase!

Amazing results!
I have just finished my first purchase of Dr Matthews Collagen Peptides. I have placed my second order & subscribed. I do not want to be without it. The first week I used 2 scoops per day then changed to one scoop. I add it to my coffee. It mixes best in hot drinks. I can really not taste it in my coffee. So very happy about that. Results that I have noticed …..the next morning after my first 2 scoops I noticed a difference in my skin on my face & neck. I noticed a softening in my wrinkles. I wondered at 1st if I was being overly hopeful. As the days passed by I realized my skin was still improving. Not only are my wrinkles much less all over my body, I have a glow. One of the least expected things were the scars on my elbows (matching ones) began to look dry & scaly. Then the dry skin pealed and I have soft beautiful skin only now. That was a very pleasant surprise. I have also noticed my hair shedding has lessened noticeably & my nails are growing out faster & not splitting so those are bonuses too. Very happy I found this product!

Great price and quality
This is actually my second review of the product. Iâve been asked to write again as my first review may have been overlooked? I enjoy the product so I donât mind writing again if needed. So here it is; The product is actually great! Iâm about halfway through the bag. There is no taste, it completely dissolves in my morning coffee and Iâve used it in my smoothie as well. To be honest to get any real results you need to use this product for a least a 3 to 4 weeks. Then you will start to see the benefits. I will certainly continue further on also. However I have to say my stomach felt better within the first week. So results could happen faster for you. The price is great and your getting higher quality ingredients. I am glad they checked in with me tomake sure everything is good. I hope as they grow they do not lose the personal touch.

Helpful Collagen Product
I have never tried a collagen peptide powder supplement prior to this one by Dr. Matthew. I wanted some time with the product in order to use it consistently and for a long enough period that I could determine results. I take it at night, with my last meal, and I feel that it is helping with my sleep. I would say that is probably the biggest difference I’ve noticed. My hair, skin, and nails have all been healthy up to this point, so I feel this product is either helping me maintain status quo or assisting with a healthier glow and appearance. My joints feel good with this product as well. I am not achy when I get up in the morning after my weight workout the previous day. I can’t say 100% that this product is THE thing that is making a difference, but I am pleased to have it as part of my arsenal of a healthy diet with natural supplements. It mixes well, and I’ve used mixed it up in two ways: 1) by itself with just water; it mixes just fine, and I can drink it like this but it is a bit chalky and weird tasting this way, so I just chug it down and try not to think or smell it, and 2) mixed in with my egg-white protein powder that is flavored already and with oats and frozen fruit; this way, I can’t taste or smell the collagen peptide product at all, so this is my preferred method of using the product. Again, the biggest difference I’d say that I notice is with my sleep.

The formula has changed
The first time I bought it, it dissolved quickly in cold or hot drinks and there was no smell but this batch stinks really bad and it does not dissolve completely in my hot coffee.

Really great ingredients, which are needed for everybody who is training. Good that it’s unflavored, I use it with a protein shake. Recommend it!
