Great, accessible option for an intimate wash with hyaluronic acid.
I’m not entirely sure why Dove is marketing this as a “Whole Body Wash” while also clearly describing it as a product for women’s wellness, calling it a “vulva nourishment serum,” and stating that it’s formulated specifically for “delicate vulva skin.” Doveâs Whole Body Intimate Wash is a pH-balanced intimate wash that contains hyaluronic acid.Thatâs a good thing and undoubtably the reason for the higher price point. Hyaluronic acid isnât commonly found in drugstore-brand intimate washes, but itâs extremely beneficial for AFAB individuals who are prone to vaginal dryness. I think this ingredient should be featured more prominently on the packaging, because itâs both important to know and helps explain why this small bottle costs as much as it does.It truly has no scent, which is a welcome change from the overly perfumed options Iâve used in the past from brands like Vagisil and Summerâs Eve. When I opened the bottle, I didnât detect any smell at all, nothing chemical, artificial, or obviously ingredient-derived. It lathered well and left me feeling clean and fresh without smelling like I sprayed an entire Bath & Body Works between my legs. Just clean and neutral. I donât personally have to deal with vaginal dryness and didnât find this caused any, either.Technically anything can be used as a “Whole Body Wash” if you choose to use it everywhere, but I canât imagine wanting to do that with this product. It’s $20 for an 8oz bottle and clearly intended to be an intimate wash. The branding choice is especially odd given that the same product line includes a âCleansing Oilâ labeled as an âoil-to-lather body wash.â I have no idea who decided everything in this new women’s wellness line needed a confusing name, and I think Dove should seriously reconsider their branding of this line. That said, at least the product itself is very good.

Great for Sensitive Areas
I am a woman in my early 40’s and have switched to special soaps for my private areas because regular body wash and soaps have become too irritating. I usually use either Vagisil wash or the equivalent store brand and haven’t had any issues, but I love the Dove brand and its reputation for quality and gentle ingredients, so I decided to try this new intimate wash. It is unscented and lathers well, leaving me feeling clean and not itchy or dry. It rinses easily with no burning sensation like some soaps. The price point is way higher than similar items I have used, so I think they would have to lower the price to make it appealing to average shoppers. Other than the price, I have been very pleased with this product and would recommend it for women with especially sensitive intimate areas.

Dove Whole Body Intimate Wash for Women
This Dove whole body wash works well, but it has a few drawbacks. While I absolutely feel clean after using it, the fact that it doesn’t have any fragrance in it somehow makes the smell from the ingredients come across as pungent and quite unpleasant. The scent hit me right in the nostrils straight from the bottle applied to my hands, so it was definitely not a me issue. I also find that the body wash is quite drying on the skin. I don’t typically have to lotion head to toe (usually just my hands, feel and elbows where my skin is prone to feeling dry post shower), but this particular body wash sucked all of the moisture right out of my skin everywhere. I’d recommend using this more as a product for the sensitive areas it promotes over traditional body wash versus a ‘whole body’ application that is advertised on the bottle, but maybe that’s just me.

I got this Dove Whole Body wash for my wife, as she was looking for something specifically designed for sensitive skin that could be used everywhere. She has been using it for several days now and has been very happy with the results.â¡ï¸ According to my wife, the best part is how gentle it is. It lives up to its claims of being pH optimized and doesn’t cause any dryness or irritation at all on her sensitive skin. She also really likes the light, clean scent, describing it as light and fresh without being overpowering or perfumy like many other body washes can be.â¡ï¸ Her only small complaint is that she wishes it was offered in a larger bottle with a pump dispenser for more convenient use in the shower. Best used as strictly an intimate wash
The marketing of this product is confusing to me to be honest. It’s an intimate wash meant to be used for your whole body? At a price point of $19.99 for only 8 oz, I definitely would not use this as a regular body wash, you can get better washes for cheaper. That said, I do like it as an intimate wash–it is a clear gel that is completely unscented and has no discernible fragrance. It just smells like nothing to me, which is great to use in sensitive areas. I didn’t find that it irritated or dried my skin out at all, and it left me feeling totally clean. So at a more competitive price, I would definitely recommend this as an intimate wash, but I have other products I like a lot more for full-body.
