I weigh 256 lbs. I have a lot of crevices that overlap each other. I also run 2-3 miles 3 times a week and about 5-6 miles on Saturdays. My Saturday miles will continue to increase. All that to say my original deodorant didn’t do much to stave off my body odor. It also wasn’t an all over deodorant. I’m always so stinky after my runs. I got this deodorant on a Friday so I used it for my Saturday long run. It was also very hot out that day. The high was 103° and it was almost 90° by 9:30 am. I ran and I sweat profusely. I got home after my 4.5 mile run and I obviously had a little body odor but it wasn’t so bad. My daughter said at worst I just smell like I’ve been outside for a long time but it wasn’t horrible like usual. That same day I showered and reapplied the deodorant, and went on a 2 mile walk in 100°. Today was a 2.5 mile run and I don’t smell myself like usual. I feel comfortable not showering since I have a workout at lunch time as well. It also doesn’t break me out like most deodorants do because there’s no aluminum which is a big deal for me because when I get rashes from wearing aluminum deodorant I can’t wear deodorant until it’s gone and no one wants that. Anyhoo it’s an easy application. Just squirt a little on two fingers and apply to your pits and crevices. It’s got the texture and consistency of lotion. It keeps me smelling decent after sweating. I know someone said theirs had a sour milk smell and I think that probably has more to do with their body odor composition and less about the deodorant.

Great for workouts. Or if you have areas that sweat a lot that conventional deodorant doesnât work for. Love the scent. Wish the application was more like a roll on as a lot comes out if youâre not careful. However its easy to apply, last for at least 12 hours for me. Doesnât irritate me at all in my sensitive areas. Good value for money and very effective.

Ever since I found this product I do not use anything else! I did try Lume, but I hated all of their scents. Dove has two very pleasant soft scents and that is all they need. You canât go wrong with either one. Obviously I use it for my armpits, but itâs not limited to just that area. I also use it on my feet and Iâve noticed that my feet are softer and donât smell bad at the end of my day. I also use it on my childrenâs feet and same for them. It may seem like itâs not enough, but you donât need a lot. It has lasted me over a month. I do like to look for the sales so that I donât run out.

sweet raspberry burned my pits raw
dove burned my armpits! i have been using lume for months now and have been blown away (much to my annoyance because the marketing drives me bananas. the coconut is the only one that doesnât have the weird smell to it in my opinion, then the lavender is⦠okay) but i ran out and wanted to try this because itâs much cheaper. mistake! day one i didnât notice anything other than the very sweet, but nice, smell of sweet roses and raspberry. day two it starts burning but i thought that maybe i hadnât properly dried my pits post shower before applying or maybe i got a little sweaty before the cream dried. tender to the touch all the next day. day three i make sure i am very dry and stay cool so there is mo chance of sweating. apply without immediate burning but itâs been a couple hours now and the pain is intense and my pits are red and raw even after rewashing and getting it all of. a shame! definitely be wary if you have sensitive skin. know that it is not remotely the same as lume. ouch!!

Great stuff
This is extremely effective, The scent is pleasant, it lasts a couple days if you’re not getting stressed or super active. Its very light and creamy and smooth. Applicator head is interesting, fine for pits, anywhere else you’ll have to apply to hands first. The only issue I have with this product is that being an acid, it caused a little bit of a rash in my armpits if I used it in conjunction with a somewhat irritating soap. Just me doing too much to my skin though, I don’t blame the deo, I just need to chill

Sour Milk Smell. Gross
After showering, I noticed it goes on with a pleasant scent but noticed hours later a mildew/ sour smell. I had worked from home the entire day so no active moving around or exercising and it wasnât until I was ready to work out that evening and was changing when I noticed the smell and that I needed to wipe it off and used lume instead. Iâm glad I wasnât out and about smelling like that or that would have been embarrassing!
