Affordable hair products for adults with low scent
Ever use a hair product marketed for men and think to yourself, “why do I smell like a high school locker room?”, Dove has come out with a product for you.For those of us who don’t want to go around with pounds of perfume on our heads, the Dove sculpting paste is an excellent product. It gives a medium hold which lasts pretty much all day. Strong enough for keeping short hair put, but if you have hair longer than 3 inches you might want to look into something stronger.The paste has a nice matte look. This will not make you look like a greaser, although its not totally invisible. Its matte while visible enough to show you put some effort into your hair.In terms of feel this product is among the best I’ve tried. It has a lightly greasy feel, which, while not perfect, is much better than some products out their.Ironically, the only thing I think could be better is the smell. The sculpting paste has a light soapy aroma, not unpleasant at all, and totally unoffensive. Its one of the least offensive smells you can buy, although I just wish the smell was a little less noticeable.Overall, if you’re looking for a matte, medium, hold hair product and want to smell and feel like an adult, this is the one to get.

Great for styling but looking natural
I’ve used a lot of hair products in the past, and this one is one of my favorites. I go a couple days at a time without shampooing my hair (although I at least rinse my hair every day in the shower with water alone), and I prefer the way it holds on about day 3. After a couple more days I reset with a shampoo wash, and it works great.It has a good smell and texture. My hair is very dense and thick-stranded, and it does a good job at holding the style that I want. After I shower I dry my hair until it is just slightly damp and then take a nickel-sized bit of this, spread it in my palms, and work it into all my hair. Throughout the day I can run my fingers through my hair to stand it back up how I like it or put it down.

A new favorite of my son’s. The scent is a bit strong but it works great.
I picked up this sculpting paste for my adult son who, for the past 10 years, has just buzzed off his hair and never had to mess with it. He grew it out recently and is trying to figure out what to do with it. He never really messed with pastes and glues and styling products before. He tried a few and hated how sticky and heavy they were. I was going to put this in his Christmas stocking (Yes, I still make stockings for my adult kids.) but he saw it and took it. He likes it. He says that it isn’t nearly as sticky or hard and it keeps his hair in place without looking wet or super shiny. He doesn’t like the scent though. Too strong for his preferences.I saw his hair last night and it looked really good. Well groomed but not overdone or sticky. He will continue to use this paste but, if he can find one that works the same and doesn’t have a strong scent, he will switch. Other than the scent, this is a favorite of my son’s and he has been through several kinds of products and nearly buzzed his hair off again because none of them did what he wanted. This is as close as he has gotten to being happy with his hair. I think it does a great job by the way his hair looks and stays looking even after being out in the elements.

I’ve been using this for a few months. Its a really nice light, clean feel and still holds pretty well.When I first started using it I had long-ish hair (about 5 inches) and this worked really well to pull it back and side part it without making it crunchy or sticky or greasy. By the end of the day it starts to lose its hold a bit, but that’s the trade-off I guess, more crunch/stick/grease, more hold, and I just hate that heavy feeling in my hair.Now my hair is a bit shorter 2 inches and parted to the side. It holds really well in short hair.Not overly strong scented, which is good. I don’t want my hair product to be scented. Manufacturers, if you’re reading this, please stop making my hair product scented. I wear deodorant (scented), and occasionally cologne – I don’t need a 3rd scent added to that.

This is a good hair styling product. I like the light scent, and it holds my hair pretty well throughout the day. It is always easy to wash out, and I am come to like Dove products in general. I use their deodorant, body wash, and shampoo/conditioner. I only wish Dove would come out with a men’s conditioner that was not a 2-in-1. Their conditioners are much better, but I prefer the scent from the Men + Care line, especially the green fresh or extra fresh line.

This product provides and offers everything that I am looking for in a good sculpting paste. When applied, this product instantly finishes up your hair and gives it a long lasting hold for a long amount of time. After use, this product also gives my hair a nice greasy look that I am going for with a nice feeling texture that is given onto the hair. This product can be used with both wet and dry hair (I have used it with both wet and dry hair and the results are both great in the end). The packaging of this product is quite small and can be considered little, but a tiny amount of the paste can provide a decent hold to your hair; meaning, it will take a while to go through one package. This product is amazing considering the price that is being offered.
