Alternative to spackle?
I’ve been using Cremo for a few years now and it’s become a staple in my daily hygiene regimen. This stuff comes out pretty thick and can be applied as is or lathered up in a bowl. I prefer to use it with a tiny amount of water so it still has a lighter consistency. If you fill the sink with water and use that to rinse your razor you’ll have a hell of a time getting all the shaving cream off after each stroke. I normally shave while I’m in the shower so it all gets done in one shot. I find it works best when applied as a thin layer of paste. It takes a few times to figure out how much product you need to use and if you’re the type that has a five o’clock shadow at noon then I’d suggest starting off with a generous amount of shaving cream. It provides a nice smooth shave, even on the upwards stroke which I use for my neck and jawline. I know some guys like to use a towel to get rid of excess shaving cream while others rinse with water. I’ve done both methods with this shaving cream and found that this can leave a white film in areas where it wasn’t completely wiped off. Sometimes I’m in a hurry and don’t check but the benefit is that your face will smell like the fragrance of the shaving cream which is good. The smell is subtle but noticeable if your up close with someone. Rinsing is the preferred method for myself because the moisturizers in the shaving cream tend to make my face a lot more oilier than usual. It does require a thorough rinsing because of how thick it is so have a towel ready when you do that or if you shave in the shower like myself, you don’t have to worry about that. The tube doesn’t take up a bunch of room in my shower caddy like a can would and it won’t rust and look nasty after a few days either so that’s a nice plus. Cremo has quite a few good smelling shaving creams and I’d recommend anyone to try them out and see how they work.

I am turning 59 next month and I started shaving when I was 13. The men in my family have tough and fast-growing beards. Shaving has always been a crappy job with crappy results…. until I found Cremo Shaving Cream.Cremo has been a part of my routine now for about 4 years and I can’t thank them enough for the incredible upgrade to my daily routine that they provide.Cremo goes on so smooth and lathers up beautifully. Just squeeze a small amount in your wet hands and lather it up and apply. It doesn’t take much, so while this may seem pricier than the cheap crap you can buy, this will last as long and will give you a 10x better shave.After shaving, my face is smooth and clean and my wife loves the results. Yours will too.Pro shaving tips from 4 decades of shaving:Never shave upwards. When you do, you are pulling the hairs up and back and that causes them to invert and causes bumps. It may seem like you are getting a closer shave, but you are actually causing issues you have to deal with longer term. Just keep shaving on a downward stroke only.After you lather your face up, let it sit. The longer it is on, the more pliable/softer your beard hairs will be and will make shaving much easier and closer.Rinse your blade constantly. Every time you stroke the blade on your face, rinse the blade. Haris are stuck between the blades and they prevent you from getting a close shave.When rinsing your blade, place the blade at the bottom of the falling water. Gravity and propulsion gives it more force to remove the hairs stuck between the blades.Rinse both sides of the blade, not just one side, so you make sure to get the hairs out from in-between.After shaving, dry the blades on your towel. Your blades will last much longer. Don’t put the blades in a box or bag. Just leave it out to dry faster.Get a good razor. I use the Amazon Basics 5-Blade MotionSphere Razor and it is a fantastic razor and the best price on the market. Lo primero que noté al abrir por primera vez es su aroma refrescante, la menta se siente bastante presente pero al terminar el rasurado se disipa en unos minutos asà que no es molesto.La lubricación al rasurado depende mucho de la cantidad de agua, esta debe ser la correcta, pues muy poca hace que la navaja no resbale bien y mucha agua hace que este se disuelva bastante, pero no es dificil de dar con la mezcla correcta. Despues de dar la primer pasada, usualmente es suficiente solo añadir más agua con las manos para reactivar para la segunda lo cual ahorra tiempo y producto.La frescura que deja en la piel (y lo increiblemente suave que la deja!) es genial. Deja una sensación de limpieza y comodidad en la cara, he notado que no es tan necesario el uso de un aftershave al usar Cremo ya que deja mi piel bastante bien y no irritada, ya que mi piel, principalmente el el bigote es bastante sensible.Definitivamente volveré a adquirir este producto, posiblemente en otras fragancias, aunque este par de tubos me durará bastante tiempo ya que un poco sirve para mucho (posiblemente con el tamaño de dos monedas de $1 cubrirÃa toda mi cara incluyendo la barba hasta el cuello.
