A Sweet Friend To My Coif!
This brush is functional and inventive. It is also really cute! More importantly though, it works very well! I bought this brush because, after a long period of stress, I found that my hair was starting to fall out in large clumps. After taking other obvious actions (doctor visit, supplements, etc.), I decided that it might also be helpful to stop using the medieval torture device I had been using to brush my hair in the shower. Hence, I turned to the Crave Detangling Brush. This brush does not strangle and tug at the hair. In fact, I can hard feel it gliding through my mane like butter. It releases the knots (while massaging the scalp!), and it does not break the ends. I found that the wad of hair I removed from the brush after using it to comb through my conditioned hair in the shower was about a third the size of the wad I had been amassing and removing with my old brush. A THIRD!!Now if you knew just how much of my beautiful, luscious glory had been coming out in handfuls just prior, you could appreciate the staggering reduction in size of this tragic hairball. Additionally, since it leaves my tips intact, all the pulling and tugging during brushing are minimized which, I believe, contributes to the total amount of hair left attached to my head!My single complaint about this brush has to do with its ergonomic design. Although the brush is shaped to fit comfortably and beautifully in the hand (and it does), it can also be a bit difficult to maintain a good grip on the handle, esp. in the shower. As it turns out, the texture of the brush itself becomes incredibly slick when wet, and esp. when your hand is coated (even slightly) with conditioner. Hence, it becomes insanely difficult to get a good enough grip to get the brush all the way through the length of the hair when using it in the shower. I’m thinking a thick rubber band wrapped tightly around the handle might alleviate the problem, or perhaps some other tweak could be found to accommodate this single minor inconvenience, but it is in no way a deal breaker. The brush is great! I got it in the lilac color, so it is gorgeous as well.I would recommend this brush to anyone who has trouble with breakage or hair loss, or who has a sensitive scalp, tendencies toward tangling, or who would just like to have a very nice, cute, ergonomic, functional brush that feels nice to use and does what it is supposed to do. I’m really happy I invested in it and my hair thanks me too.

A must for healthy hair
This is extremely gentle on hair and noticed that it doesnât leave a lot of hair on the brush like all the others Iâve had. Does not tug and is gentle on knots. Definitely a must for healthy hair. The handle is very short but the quality makes up for it.

Amazing comb but not true to color
Great brush for thin fine hair – I worry about brushes pulling out strands I canât afford to lose, this one combs without pulling. Also it feels AMAZING on the scalp.1 downside – the coral brush is pictured as an orange pink coral color. Itâs not coral at all, itâs Barbie pink

UPDATED REVIEW:After writing my review I decided to forward it to the customer service department at Crave Naturals and found their email on their website. I received an immediate response from the founder of the company, Kristen who explained the source of the issue and offered to send me a replacement brush and a refund. She did explain to me that issue was as follows:âWhen a customer decides to return a brush to Amazon, they ship it back to an Amazon warehouse. At that time an Amazon employee takes the product out of the return box and makes a decision as to whether or not it is to be discarded or put back into Amazon inventory. I have told Amazon in the past that all of our returns should be discarded because they are sanitary in nature and should not be used by more than one person. Unfortunately, it appears that they are not following our requests.âI received my package from Kristen today and she sent me TWO new brushes and they were 100% brand new and wonderful. She exceeded my expectations and completely changed my perspective of her company and staff. Iâm honestly happier now than I would have been if I got sent a brand new brush delivered from Amazon from the start.The brush works wonders when it comes to detangling hair. Itâs very gentle and I noticed a lot less hair came out compared to using my regular brush or wide tooth comb. I havenât gotten to use it on a knot yet but I feel very confident that I wonât be using the scissors on my knots anymore because this will work perfectly to get my knots and tangles out. Being born with fine hair and choosing to bleach it every couple of months has led to multiple hair issues such as damage, breakage, slow growth, and tangling and knotting very easily. Iâve suffered with hair loss, bald spots and knots so bad that after hours of trying to get them untangled, I give up and just end up cutting out the chunk of my hair… So I am always doing research to learn the best, new techniques and remedies in order to have healthy and happy hair and this brush seemed like the perfect fix to my tangling issues.I choose this brand because it was listed as âAmazonâs Choiceâ and had a high rating with plenty of reviews so I figured it was a safe bet to go with this brand. I had ordered it with eight other things to get faster shipping and it arrived the next day with my other items in a fairly large box. When opening my Amazon package and grabbing the box with the brush inside, I immediately noticed the brush box was damaged and it looked like it had been squished or dropped. Since it came in a big Amazon box I knew that it didnât happen during shipping so I figured it happened at the factory before being boxed up but it was just the box so I didnât think much of it. When opening the brush box I immediately saw a dark hair on the brush underneath the plastic… Having blonde hair myself I knew there was no possible way it could have been mine so it was obvious to me that the brush had been purchased by someone else, returned and then shipped off to me which is why the box appeared to be tampered with. Iâm pretty disgusted at the fact they would send me a used brush that had been returned. I donât understand why they wouldnât inspect the returned brush to make sure it hadnât been used before sending it to someone else advertising it as a ânewâ product. The fact that they didnât even take the time to inspect it or sanitize it during the time of a pandemic just goes to show poor management in my eyes. Iâm very disappointed with this purchase and would recommend going with a different company/brand if choosing to buy this detangling brush. There are a lot of other ones that Iâm sure wouldnât be sending out used, returned brushes.

I think my search ends with this one. I have very hick hair. It covers it brilliantly. I honestly love how easy it is to clean. I use this while I shampoo and condition. The massage it gives is amazing. Spreads my conditioner easily. I clean it every single time I shower and itâs SO easy unlike other brushes where we struggle to get out all the hair. This doesnât even hold dust. Breakage has reduced considerably. Itâs actually zero now and better yet, I have no frizzy hair anymore. Love how compact it is too. Easily fits in my bag (not for sling bags) and the shape is really awesome to hold too. Pictures attached. Itâs totally worth the price. Bristles are neither too hard nor too soft.
