Professional type for personal use
This has an intensity level range from 1 to 9. It performs very well on thick toenail beds, trimming, and buffing.

Gets the job done
Seems to work just fine. Feels a little cheap, but it gets the job done.

Best, cheapest nail drill I’ve tried so far
I’ve been doing DIY manicures for years and this is the best all around drill I’ve tried so far. It’s incredibly lightweight compared to my next favorite drill (dremel 2050). It’s surprisingly lightweight for being rechargeable- most lightweight drills need a cord so they don’t have to stick a battery in the drill itself. It has multiple settings and gets to a pretty high speed. It’s not quite as high powered, but it’s still plenty strong to file down my acrylics or gel extensions. It’s not too noisy compared to similarly powered drills. There’s a carrying case for the drill bits, but not for the drill itself. The drill bits are held in place by friction, so there’s a limit to how hard you can press down when filing. As long as you’re using the appropriate coarseness, this doesn’t hinder the filing process and actually prevents you from filing too hard. I’m able to use it to prep the surface of my natural nails without damaging them unnecesssarily.Overall I feel that it works well, is easy to use, and saves me money compared to going to a professional salon.

Defective only lasted a few days
I received this July 17th and on July 25th it stopped working, it turns on and just flashed a zero on the screen and doesn’t rotate. Just hums and jerks.

Great for light work!
Picked this up not for nails, but for light polishing work for my guitars! This mini Dremel is fine so far considering what it is designed for. This is not a heavy-duty grinding device, so it does bog down when you apply pressure to it. If you are filing nails, you typically aren’t applying that much pressure anyway. The tool is entirely plastic but that does not take away from the overall feel. The tool is portable and cheap so in that regard it meets expectations. It does come with a small assortment of grinders which you will find helpful for nails or light jewelry work so that is also a plus. Overall, this is a decent product at an affordable price. I can’t find any major flaws other than it being as cheap as I’d expect it to be

Fait très bien pour enlever le vernis gel

Iâm not someone whoâs used a nail drill before. Iâve had salon nails in the past (and by past I mean 25 years ago), acrylics, gels, but Iâve never owned a drill or done this kind of thing at home. I bought this to clean up ragged edges, smooth out callouses, and shape my natural fingernails and toenails. The most upfront thing I can tell you is this nail drill is very powerful. Very. Donât be fooled by the price point or the innocent-looking design. Itâs robust, and attention must be paid when using it.ðª This thing has muscle. The 20,000 RPM output is no joke. That means the drill spins 20,000 times per minute, which helps when filing down thick materials like acrylics, dip powder, gel overlays, or callouses. But if your nails are thin and close to the skin like mine, youâre going to feel it. Even at level 1. So again, go gently.â ï¸ At 20,000 RPM with 9 speed levels, I felt vibration and heat immediately at the lowest setting. My nails are short, so there isnât much buffer between them and the skin, which makes the sensation very noticeable. It may feel different if you’re working on longer nails, where thereâs more material and distance from the nerve endings.ð When you go to a salon, those professionals make it look easy. Theyâre trained and do this all day. It looks smooth and effortless because they know what theyâre doing. It isnât effortless. Thatâs why we pay them. If youâre untrained or just doing maintenance like me, go slow and start at the lowest setting until you feel confident.ð§ I read reviews to see how others were using this, and it was clear many were experienced with nail prep, polish finishes, tools, and techniques. Iâm not. One review stood out. They said this wasnât a heavy-duty grinder, except they were using it to polish guitars. Thatâs cool. Tools can be versatile. But advice from someone not using it on hands or feet doesnât really apply here. From what I saw, heard, and felt, this device absolutely qualifies as heavy duty. The second I turned it on, I was transported back to the salon chairs of 30 years ago. The sound and sensation reminded me of those drills used for prepping acrylics.ð Instructions: For someone like me who has challenges with spatial reasoning or understanding how mechanical devices work, this isnât intuitive. The letters F, R, and P appear on the digital display and the manual doesnât explain them. I had to research to figure them out:⢠F = Forward rotation⢠R = Reverse rotation⢠P = Pause or Power, depending on when it shows upEven with this knowledge, Iâd still need some lessons and practice to fully understand it. None of that is a criticism of the product. Itâs just how my brain works. I struggle with mechanical or automated things, so tools like this are harder for me. That said, this drill is well made and I respect what it offers for people with more skill or familiarity.ð A few other things worth knowing:The drill bits are held in by friction. You canât press too hard or theyâll slip, which in a way protects you from overdoing it.The bits come in a case, but the drill itself does not.The charging port on my unit was very tight. If you find same on yours, you’ll find the included cable didnât fit, and if I had forced it, it wouldâve broken the device. I used my own cable instead, but it took some care.I know Iâm out of my depth here. My nails are too thin and sensitive for anything more than the lowest setting and Iâll likely have someone else operate this if I ever use it again. But I can absolutely see how someone with experience or thicker nails would get more out of it.Itâs a strong, compact, lightweight tool that delivers on power. Just know what youâre getting into and if youâre new to this, take your time. Iâm not offering advice or saying what will work for anyone else. Iâm just sharing my experience and what this product is capable of.p.s. – I don’t usually write this lengthy a review to be honest, but I felt it was important in case other novices who maybe (like me) did not realize how powerful this tool is. (though the details do specify that). So, I’ll leave it to the pros next time. Live, Learn, and take the product details at face value. ð

I’ve been wanting to pick up a nail drill for so long so I could remove the nail glue from my expensive press on nails to be able to reuse them and so I hopped on it when this showed up. This thing is an absolute CHAMP. It comes with several attachments but I personally used the “safety” bit attachment to remove the glue and it worked wonders. I got the thick glue off all the nails within 10 minutes, though I could’ve had it removed quicker I opted to be a bit more conservative for my first foray into using a nail drill. The plug in charger was a tight fit to get it in, as I think the charging port might be a bit misaligned with the opening but I eventually got it in and had zero issues charging. Even after having this running for 10 minutes I still have plenty of battery which is great because it means I won’t need to charge it frequently. The photo makes the colour of the shell look like a shiny electric blue but its more of a soft baby blue with only a slight shine to it. The drill is nice to grip as its nice and girthy but it is a smooth plastic and although my hand slipped a few times, I 100% blame that on my own experience using a nail drill (which is to say its zero) but I picked up pretty quickly how to balance it and and I’ve had no incidents since.I’ve been using the drill on the lowest setting “1” and honestly it’s doing everything I need it to, albeit at a possibly slower pace but I feel more comfortable at the lowest setting since I’m a beginner but this drill does go all the way to a 9 which I’m sure is super powerful. The drill bits are easy to get in and out, and the drill itself isn’t very loud even at the highest setting. I could comfortably have a conversation at a normal volume even with it going. It has a forwards mode, reverse mode, and a pause which are pretty cool features.

I recently started doing my own gel nails. I’m slowly leveling up my game by introducing new tools/products to make my life easier. At (currently) $20.99, I honestly feel dumb for not purchasing one sooner! The instructions manual has everything detailed accurately and clearly. The device has 9 speeds but I found it was able to comfortably achieve what I needed on the first two. The display makes it super easy to tell when it rotating forward (F), reverse (R), or paused (P). I also like that it has a battery charging indicator. While on topic of charging, I really appreciate that it utilized type-c like all our phones and devices. I haven’t noticed others reviewers commenting on this but mine is really hard to plug in. I have to push really hard to be able to get it fully in. Not a deal breaker, and like I said, it might just be mine. In case its not, I recommend holding the drill nice and steady so not to bend the charger while forcing it in.Other then that, the kit comes with a variety of bits and sanding bands. I anticipate having enough sanding bands for the next 5+ years! I love the needle bit to clean up the excess gel around the nail bed and under the nails (I’m a newbie lol).In conclusion, don’t struggle with nail files or clippers. Do yourself a solid and get this drill, you won’t regret it!

With a child caught between nail biting and overuse of clippers, I picked up this drill hoping to shift that habit toward actual nail care. It may just work. The tool is very lightweight and impressively quiet, even at its highest speed. From across a room you might not even hear it running, which is a big difference from tools like a Dremel. The included attachments feel like metal emery boards and make quick, clean work of nail edges. They grip well and stay in place thanks to a solid friction fit. The drill can remove nail material fast if you’re careless, but with light pressure and attention, it leaves smooth, polished edges and tidies up cuticles with precision.Turning it on requires holding the power button for a few seconds, which is a useful safety feature. It prevents accidental activation, though it might make you second-guess whether the battery is dead the first time you try it. Charging is handled with a standard USB A to C cable, and I used a generic 10W adapter without any issues. Charge time was quick, and the battery held up for several sessions. After a single use, my own usually-ignored nails looked better than they have in months. This is not a high-end salon tool, but for its price and performance, it handles real-world fingers just fine. It feels safe enough to use with supervision on a preteen, making it a practical way to encourage better nail habits.
