Took almost a month to arrive
I ordered this product December 7th and it finally arrived January 5th. I enjoyed the smell of the product. I was not fan of this leave in conditioner. It claims that it will protect against heat. Hopefully it does. When I use this leave in it takes me almost twice as long to blow dry my hair. Since my hair is exposed to the extra heat, I really hope it protects. I’m not sure it does? My hair does not feel as soft as when I use other leave ins.

Colorproof Essential Leave-in
I have fine, curly, frizzy hair…perfect for humid weather! Ha! My only saving grace is that it’s mid-back length which weighs it down and keeps the curl loose and pretty. However, the frizz is out of control, along with the dryness due to me highlighting my hair regularly. I figured I’d try this out since it mentions it helps repair, protect, etc. While I’m not sure about the “detangling to prevent breakage” claim- (my hair is impossibly tangly), I did notice my hair feels a lot softer, which is impressive. My hair definitely has something on it to help it to feel healthier and coated- but it doesn’t feel weighed down in a heavy product way. My hair feels soft and looks shiny, and this is the only change I’ve made- spritzing this in after my showers. I’d recommend this based on the softness of my hair alone. A little goes a long way, so it’s a good value, too.

It barely had any scent and felt like water. It was as effective as applying water. Maybe I received a returned bottle after someone had watered it down?

A Fine Mist, So Easy to Use!
What I really like about this leave-in conditioner is how fine the spray is! It is a really gentle, controllable mist that allows you to thoroughly address all of your hair but never have clumped up areas or untreated areas. Super nice!And, I love how thin the product is. This makes it very easy to work through your hair.I used a Colorproof conditioner and then followed up with this. When my hair air-dried, it looked stunning: defined, shiny, and so gorgeous! A really fantastic leave-in! Wow!

Smells great.
I am very happy with this leave in conditioner. I like that the top is twist and lock so it will be safe from most kids spraying it. Unless they’re clever ha. It seemed to make my hair really soft. I also like the scent quite a bit. I like that it smells great but isn’t overpowering. I do not have dyed hair so cannot speak on the claims of the haircolor. But I can say it works nicely and leaves your hair feeling hydrated and soft.

Smell is fantastic and the bottle is great…but…
I wanted to love this. The smell is truly wonderful and the bottle is sturdy and well-made…feels high end. However, I’m not overly impressed with the detangling nature of the conditioner. I’ve used it for several days on my children’s hair and I’m not noticing a huge difference in using this product. Certainly not the “slip and shine” that is advertised. Perhaps it’s not meant for that level of tangles.

My kind of leave in
I have long, naturally curly hair that is a bit dried out. This works to help detangle and soften it and bring out my curls. It leaves my hair looking natural when it dries and not greasy, weighed down or wet looking. It smells good too. It’s a light, clean smell that lingers lightly in my hair, nothing overwhelming.
