Okay I use 6N for my DARK BROWN HAIR, This color is not blonde. This is a dark brown, I have read many reviews stating the colors are much darker then identified. Anyways, now that you know about how the colors work. THIS STUFF WORKS. It is very easy to apply, dyes my greys and freshens up my dark hair. Smell is very minimal. The color lasts a long time and is very affordable. PHOTO IS 3 WEEKS AFTER HAIR TREATMENT! Will definitely buy over and over again!

Good for price
I used this color 5N to tone down orange highlights. It worked great and made them darker, like a reddish brown instead of bright copper. I am dark brown with highlights. My mistake not buying the volume 10 developer at first. I don’t suggest trying without it, it was a waste of product. The developer did not lighten any hair that I didn’t want lighter. It opens the hair to accept the brown pigment. I highly recommend a cheap mixing bowl, gloves, brush and clips. I can understand why people think this product will dry your hair out. If you use it for the recommended duration or less then rinse and seal with a conditioner, your hair should retain a smooth/soft feel. The first attempt, I used shampoo and no developer, my hair felt dry after.

It gets better!
The color is beautiful and true! I was scared at first because when I washed it off it looked very dark, pretty much black. After 2 washes with clarifying shampoo it has started to show through! I had caramel highlights prior but they were looking brassy so I wanted toner to neutralize it! Came out pretty in my opinion!

I wish I had known about Demi permanent colors years ago! I never liked the feel or smell of the permanent or semi permanent colors because they burnt my head. Recently they were causing my hair to fall out. The Demi permanent has no ammonia or harsh chemicals, but still leaves a very nice color. It coats the hair rather than stripping it. Iâm a fan.

I was told by my hairdresser to use Demi permanent hair dye to avoid weird colour changes, dryness and damage. This is the best advice I got. I started using this and it’s great! Colour lasts a long time, honestly as long as permanent without any funny colour changes. I’ve noticed less damage too. Will keep using.
