How To Use
Before first use, please ensure device has been charged for a full 24 hours.
Step 1: Apply cleanser directly to skin or to the Clarisonic brush head.
Step 2: Wet the brush head and cleanser.
Step 3: Place brush to forehead and turn on.
Step 4: Select desired speed.
Step 5: Follow T-timer prompts while gently moving the brush in small circular motions
User Tip! Pressing the brush into the skin with too much pressure may impede the motion and reduce effectiveness.

Works with the most sensitive skin on the planet
I received this Clairsonic Mia 2 Facial Cleansing Brush a couple of days ago. This is the sort of product that benefits from use for a while in order to produce a more indepth review, but I am immediately impressed and wanted to share my first experiences.For decades I have struggled to find skin care products that I can use, as I have sensitive skin that reacts to many, many common skin care ingredients. For example- I react to all sunsreens except for the mineral kind that leaves me looking chalky, popular “hypoallergenic” products, any soap with antibacterial anything, most brands of cleanser, shampoo, body wash, moisturizer… I even have to carry my own hand soap in my purse or pocket everywhere I go, because most soaps also cause my hands to react with a flare up of painful, itchy eczema. When I go to our relatives’ houses for meal celebrations, I bring a little bottle of dish soap that I don’t react to so that I can help with clean up duty.So with my sensitive skin for so many years, I am pretty bored with my same old super mild skin care products. When I had the chance to try this cleansing device, which apparently can be used with any cleansing products, I was interested in trying it out. But honestly- I was not really expecting to like it much. I thought it would probably feel too abrasive and harsh, and then not leave me feeling clean and “glowy” but instead just leave my skin irritated. When I took it from the package, I was very skeptical. When I turned it on and it was just a vibrating brush- it seemed like just another expensive gimmick, and I didn’t think I was going to notice any change, but I tried it out.I charged it up (it has a small charger disk that attaches with a magnet, presumably to keep the device more watertight) and then gave it a try. I was surprised to find that it felt invigorating but gentle. The device is easy to hold, and it beeps periodically, to help remind the user to move to a new area of the face instead of over-scrubbing any single area. This is helpful, because it does feel nice on the skin and would be easy to get kind of mesmerized and possibly over-scrub.One thing I don’t like about it, is that I found I needed to use about twice as much cleansing product as usual. I just use a very mild Cetaphil cleansing lotion, which is not terribly expensive- but if I continue using this device I’m going to need to buy my cleansing lotion twice as often.I did find that after using, my skin feels smoother and cleaner than with regular cleansing without this little brush device, but it did not feel like my face was excessively stripped of natural oils. After cleansing, when I applied my usual moisturizer I did not feel any stinging or irritation that would have accompanied having scrubbed too vigorously. So I think that with my sensitive skin, I am a pretty good judge that this device is very gentle. And yet the texture of my skin felt smoother than usual, so I think it is also very thorough.So, I am not a person who usually uses things like this. But writing this review is making me think about the device, and making me get just a little excited to use it again tonight, and I’m excited to see if it brings any changes to reveal a smoother skin texture over time. I will just add that having dealt with excessively sensitive skin for decades- to find a beauty tool that seems like something indulgent and posh, that seems to do a thorough job of cleansing but very gently- and which actually is compatible with my sensitive skin- that is a wonderful feeling!————————————————————Edit: I’ve now been using the Clairsonic for five days.I have been thinking that each day, my skin looks a little smoother, brighter, more glowy, with absolutely no irritation. The pores in my t-zone seem a little smaller. I am in my early 50s, and I think the overall “glow” is helping make my forehead creases less noticeable. Because of so many skin sensitivities, I usually don’t wear any makeup. Yesterday I had an appointment with my eye doctor, who put her magnifiers on to examine my eyes, and immediately she exclaimed, “Your skin looks AMAZING!” which is not a compliment I’ve had in a very long time. I’ve been using my same, boring, Cetaphil Gentle Cleansing Lotion with the brush, followed by the same old fashioned, original, Oil of Olay moisturizer. The brush is the only change to my super simple skin care routine, but it seems to be making a big difference, very quickly.

Works well to cleanse the skin
I originally wanted this to replace my very old Mia smart which no longer holds a charge.The instructions say to charge for a full 24hrs prior to the first use fyiâmine didnât take that long to show fully charged, but I left it for the whole 24 just in case.The box came with the âmia 2â device, charger with wall outlet, 3 radiance brush heads and 1 bonus sensitive skin brush head.The recommendation is to replace each brush after 3 months of use, so in this box you have at least 9-12 months of use before needing replacement brushes (depending if you use the bonus sensitive skin brush or not).I havenât been able to use my old Mia smart in so long that I canât make an accurate comparison of the two, however I have been enjoying the cleansing and exfoliation of my skin that I get from using this device and Iâm happy to have an electric cleansing device back in my routineIâve been putting it through the paces by using it and leaving it in the shower, and it seems to be holding up well and not getting damaged by all the excess moisture.One thing I donât enjoy is that I liked the old magnetic stand charger for my Mia smart. This Mia 2 has a magnetic charger but you sort of lay it on the brush (or the brush on it) but if itâs not on just right it wonât charge and it can get knocked off rather easily.Overall I have not encountered any issues and it has been working well to clean my skin so Iâm happy with it.

Gets skin super clean. May be too much for ultra sensitive skin.
If youâre looking for something that gives your skin a really deep clean, makes it feel smoother, and helps your products sink in better, it honestly works great, but Iâd be careful if your skin is super sensitive or breaks out easily, or if youâre someone who likes to keep your routine simple and low-key, because it does take some time to use. I wouldn’t recommend using it every day, but every few days would be fine. Also, just something to think aboutâitâs not a one-and-done purchase. Youâll need to buy new brush heads every so often (they recommend every 3 months), and eventually the battery could start acting up.

i jumped on the clarisonic craze back when it first came out. i got the professional series and used it religiously – until it died, then the product lined ended and i was left with a bunch of cleaning brushes.WELL…..color me shocked when i saw this pop up on my feed.snagged it without a second thoughtthis is way more compact than the original.this is also much easier to charge with a little puck vs the giant stand i hadplus the puck is a USB head (not sure why it lists there’s a AAA battery needed as this is rechargable)This came wiht a total of 3 extra brush heads – really a year’s worthi had a layer of sunscreen that just didn’t want to come off with regular soap and water – with a quick run of this over my face, you can tell it was sunscreen free and soft soft soft!the best part – this is compatible with my older clarisonic brushheads (including the body brush) so i’m super amped to have this back and can use the brush heads i’ve been holding onto for the last few yearsYes – this is a pricy product but worth it. there’s a reason why there was a cult following when this brand first launched over a decade ago
