    Love this stuff!!
This is the best. Been using it for years. A bit expensive, but apply at night/bedtime, can skip a day and it still works, works even if you shower in the morning, NO residue on your daytime clothes!!

    Great for anyone with hyperhidrosis!
As someone who takes a fair amount of medications with the “possible side effect” of hyperhidrosis, I have tried every grocery store antiperspirant in the hopes of finding something to help with my excessive sweating. (Thanks, pharmaceuticals!) Even the “Clinical Strength” versions of Degree, Secret, and other brands just didn’t cut it. I’d apply them at bedtime, then have to apply them again in the morning. Sometimes, again in the afternoon. Who wants to plan their day around re-applying their antiperspirant? And who wants to have to plan their outfits around their pits? Not me!I finally decided to try Certain Dri’s solid antiperspirant. I’m not a fan of roll-ons, as my sensitive skin typically gets extremely irritated by the liquid forms. This solid is INCREDIBLE! I apply it at bedtime (as directed!) and that’s it! No more waking up and feeling gross in the morning, no more having to reapply antiperspirant repeatedly throughout the day, and no more wondering if I’m stinking up the place! The instructions do warn you not to apply this immediately after shaving your underarms or bathing/showering. Essentially, wait until your skin is not only dry, but also completely cooled from the shower/bath. This is because, even though the surface of your skin may feel dry, your pores are still more open for a while after being in a hot, steamy shower or bath. When your pores are more open, they’ll allow your skin to absorb more of whatever it comes into contact with. Since this is a very powerful antiperspirant, applying it when your skin is likely to absorb more than normal can result in a lot of irritation and discomfort. If you’re not sure how long to wait, give it at least 20-30 minutes after your shower or bath, and make sure the skin feels cool and completely dry to the touch. :)Apply it only at bedtime– This allows your skin the time to absorb the product properly into your pores, allowing it to do its job. Even after you take a bath the next morning, it’s still going to be working for you. If you’re concerned that it might not work after your morning bath/shower, you can snag their morning product, which is called Certain Dri A.M. Refresher. My shipment came with at least one coupon for $2 off that A.M. refresher product, though I haven’t purchased it yet. I haven’t felt the need to!

    Highly recommend!
This works wonders along with the roll-on. You’re supposed to shower, then let your armpits airdry before you put the roll on or it will itch. The next morning I use the solid deodorant and my armpits do not smell or sweat. I absolutely recommend! Worth the money!

Works better than the others I’ve tried.
As long as you follow the directions, it works very well. I recently started having hyperhydrosis problems and none of the other “Clinical Strength” products worked for me (Degree Clinical Strength, Dove Clinical Strength, etc.). I tried the Certain Dri roll on first because Wal Mart stocks it and I can get it locally. But, the roll on really irritates my arm pits bad. I read that the solid formula wasn’t as harsh on your skin so I tried it and it doesn’t bother me at all.You do have to put it on at night and you have to put it on dry arm pits. Moisture will negate it’s effectiveness and it needs hours to start working, hence putting it on at bedtime for the following day. It’s not a perfect solution however. If you forget to put it on at night, then putting it on in the morning is a wasted effort, it will not work. If I forget at night, I just use a regular deodorant in the morning.

    If you wouldn’t use a 2-in-1 shampoo/conditioner, don’t use a 2-in-1 deodorant/antiperspirant!
These sorts of multi-purpose goods are what I call “futon products” (or “spork products”), i.e. products that perform the functions of two or more products at once, but only by sacrificing the ability to do any of their functions particularly well. Most folks who take personal grooming seriously know to avoid 2-in-1 shampoo+conditioner, but surprisingly few can resist combing antiperspirant and deodorant. I’m here to tell you to take the leap! I’ve used many different AP/D sticks over the years, and none have measured up to plain old antiperspirant, not to mention that I now have so many more options for deodorant now that I’m getting it separately!Furthermore, this particular antiperspirant is a godsend. Just put it on at night and put on an old t-shirt or something that you don’t mind getting some mild aluminum stains in– These show up as white streaks on dark clothes and they have the familiar yellowing effect on white clothes, so I find medium grays to be the best for concealing them. And even if stains weren’t an issue, I tend sleep facedown with my arms up, and I don’t love the idea of transferring the stuff from my underarms to my pillow and then onto my face. This is the moneymaker!I also want to mention that I do have sensitive skin, but this stick doesn’t bother me at all. I admit that at first I tried the next tier stronger, which is a roll-on rather than solid, and THAT was an itchy and occasionally stingy nightmare, haha. This one’s much milder, and I haven’t noticed any increase in sweat since, so I guess you only need to go to the next tier if you’ve tried this one and it doesn’t cut it for you.Lastly, I love the fact that it lasts a while! I don’t just mean that it gives you all-day protection, but also if you’ve been using it consistently for an extended period, you have some freedom to forget to apply it on the occasional night without it wearing off by the following day. (Or, y’know, if you put off buying more until you completely run out and then you have to go a day or two without it while you wait for your Amazon package to arrive.)
