This left my hair super soft but not flat. I have fine hair which is another concern with some conditioners. I really love how soft my hair is after using this. Expensive but I do LOVE IT!
Honest review here.I hate to overpay for conditioners but I have never been disappointed by this brand and I love this conditioner. I know, I know… it’s pricy… I get it. But if you are going to spend on protecting and moisturizing this is one I would spend on…and I will repurchase this conditioner.The Alterna brand is anti aging and this includes color hold in the conditioner. I color my hair and over process it wanting it to be lighter… so I need serious moisture and help!Firstly I love that it is free of DEA/TEA, petrochemicals and dyes. Also they provide color testing results that are impressive…but I love that it is moisturizing and antiaging.Not to mention is is also free of parabens, sulfates and phthalates. That’s a plus too!I found it to help with color hold and it is super moisturizing … I know it had natural oils and sunflower seed oil… that all help with UV protection and more.HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Blown away
Hands down, my favorite conditioner. The first time I used this, I thought it was wonderful, and I only left it on for about 10 seconds before I rinsed. My hair felt smoother than any other conditioner I tried. The second time I used this conditioner, I left it on a few minutes before rinsing, and was blown away. This may be hard for some people to believe but there is a beauty salon product out there that is very expensive and is only available to salon professionals called Oliplex. They used it when they bleached my hair at the salon when I went platinum, it’s a hair bond repairer. Well this product rivaled the results I saw with that salon product and this doesn’t require a salon license to purchase. I haven’t gone so far to compare ingredients between the two, all I know is my dry coarsely textured hair felts silky smooth and the healthiest I have seen it a long time. This is my holy grail conditioner and I can’t wait to explore the rest of their products.

Delicious Fragrance, Phenomenal Results!
First, this smells incredible! It’s sweet but fruity. It’s a nice pop of scent without being too much. It’s really such a nice treat!Second, this is the perfect thickness. It is thick enough to not drip, but thin enough to evenly distribute through hair (with ease).Finally, this rinses with ease and leaves shiny, frizz-free, healthy, gorgeous hair behind! I have always loved the Alterna brand, but this conditioner is a home-run!Love the fragrance, love the ease, love the results! Very, very highly recommended!

Cleaned hair, maintains color, smells awful
We like the way it cleans our hair and leaves it shiny, but the smell while your shampooing is a horrible. You cannot smell the selfless smell once you have reached your hair and gotten out of the shower.

Great for my over processed hair!
I have not been able to see my stylist since December of 2019! And lets just say my hair is a pretty sad state of affairs these days. It’s dry and over processed from trying to recreate my stylists work(don’t recommend).I used this in conjunction with the bond repair shampoo and although the instructions say to wasn’t out without mentioning to leave it in for any length of time, I did leave it on for about 5 minutes and washed out.I find that I can really only tell how well my hair is conditioned if I blow dried it. My hair was definitely impressibly soft and manageable after.

Good but hard to use bottle
I bought this product over a month ago to try the brand and I only started using it last week. The product itself is very good and very moisturizing for my color treated hair. However, the plastic bottle it comes in is very hard to squeeze to let the conditioner and shampoo out. Itâs a beautifullly designed bottle but it doesnât work well. I had to have my husband break the top so I can use it. For this reason, I would reconsider before buying it again.

Be aware !!! Made my hair fall out in clumps !!
Horrible experience! For some reason it made my scalp extremely dry had itchy. Started noticing clumps of hair in the shower, never had this happened before. The smell is awful and definitely damaged my hair follicles. I ended up going to a dermatologist and she told me to get rid of this shampoo!! Please be aware
