Great for what I use it for
I have had this drill for a couple of years and it works really well. It is very simple to use for someone who has no experience. I use it to grind down my toenails since they had gotten very thick and yellowish. With this drill and the included drill bits I have been able to thin my nails down to normal and that makes the antifungal treatment work better so I have normal looking toenails. I was starting to think that was not possible before using this product. I love it!

Easy to use, great for beginners or professionals!
This is my first electric file, and I am so glad I purchased it! I have been doing my own nails for years and I could never get the leveling perfect. I would recommend 10/10 on this for beginners or professionals. This file is great on natural nails and quick on any form of fake. The machine is lightweight, and will move, but the cord is long enough to where you shouldn’t have to stretch it. It has multiple settings for speed, and two for direction. After inspection of the sanding heads, only 1 was peeling. (There’s 3 bags of a ton of paper heads, and a small pack of metal heads.) It felt great to hold, not awkward at all. The noise is no louder than you would expect it to be. For the price you get a lot of replacement heads, which are not quickly destroyed, and a great product!

Pretty good for price.
This is the 3rd nail drill Iâve owned over the years.First one was professional grade & lasted 10 years. Next I bought I cordless & battery never lasted long enough to sand off all 10 fingers of gel.Was looking for something in between those two and chose this one.The unit is light weight. For holding and using it, that is a good thing so your hand doesnât tire quickly. The base though is also lightweight and moves easily when using. Iâm considering some sort of Velcro to attach to my table. Still working on the best solution.Itâs simple and no complicated features.If youâre new, the speed adjustment on the unit itself will be great. If youâre used to foot peddle.. it could be a pain. But this is a home unit so shouldnât deter you from a purchase. You should be happy.A couple times it seemed to want to quit. It â hesitatedâ just a fraction of a second. But seems all ok.Price is right for a home unit!

Surprised With How Long It Lasted!
And itâs not even dead yet! I bought a white one of these in 2019. Itâs 2025 and⦠I am looking for a replacement because something did happen inside and now itâs very loud. But it STILL works! I came back here because while shopping for a new one, I read a bunch of reviews about other machines that quit working within a week or a month and thought Iâd take a look at the reviews here and see if itâs worth buying again. The reviews on this e-file are about on par with the reviews of other e-files in this price range so I might take my chances. Iâd say if you are using this as a professional e-file (like daily), that could be a possible reason it seems to not last. I use mine every 2-3 weeks for my own nails only. Good luck to those of you who buy it! Iâve had good luck for the last 6 years! I wish you the same! (But Iâm still shopping for a quieter one.)

Decent little nail drill for at home use
It works pretty good, occasionally it will not turn on though. I’ve used it probably 10 times and had issues with it powering on 3 times, it did eventually turn on.. just not immediately. You’re getting what you pay for here, nothing more. The entire thing is VERY light weight so sometimes the base with the speed control moves around instead of the spiral cord stretching out like I feel it should.

I am a nail tech and my professional drill broke. I went to my local beauty supply to buy a new drill and they didn’t have any in stock, so I ordered this one as a back up, becasue it was on Prime and professional drills are pretty spendy so I tried to save some $$ and use until my new professional one was delivered. WHAT A MISTAKE! I was surprised and excited at first because I liked that the drill had an on and off switch ( on the hand held part) along with the motor. the torque was decent. the motor and its housing was so light! almost as if it was empty haha. I used this drill on two clients for acrylic , I drilled off gel polish and Prepped the nail for a fill on both. I also used it on one client for a gel manicure. In the middle of my gel manicure the drill stopped working completely! I had to finish by hand, and reschedule my last appt for the day. ( which wasn’t a bad thing, just embarassing) so over all i used it 3 times in a row and it stopped working. To be fair, I should have known better than to buy a $25 drill haha If you are a professional or even a DIY-er I would NOT recommend this drill at all! I even read the reviews before I bought and figured I would trust the good reviews …. bad bad idea. I will be returning this drill.

I have been using a battery operated nail drill for a bit now, it works and is portable, but I wanted something bigger and stronger for at home. I’m so happy I got this one! For such a low price, its just as good as the higher priced brands. I was quite surprised at how well it does work! It takes off nail polish in minutes, no soaking or scrubbing, and leaves my nails smooth and ready for a new color! The drill tips are the basic ones for nail care, but they really are all you need. It came with a lot of extra filing bands to which is great. So far I am very happy with it and the results, I haven’t even used it on max setting yet. Just watch out for the skin around your nails, the filing board ends can really scrape and burn quick, as I found out the hard way 😉
