Great Heat Protector for Hair
This hair protector has quickly become a favorite in my routine. It smells just like a high-end salon productâclean, fresh, and professional. The mist comes out even, which makes it easy to apply without soaking your hair. It doesnât leave any stickiness or residue, and my hair feels softer and looks healthier after using it consistently.Iâve noticed less frizz and breakage when heat styling, and it gives a nice boost of moisture without weighing my hair down. I have curly hair that requires a lot of heat styling to control. I not only blow-dry my hair, but also flat iron it each and every time I get ready. My hair is fine and fairly thin. It gets damaged by heat easily. I always use a heat protectant spray to protect my hair before using heat tools. I use gentle, sulfate-free shampoo to cleanse my hair. I avoid silicones in products because they aren’t removed by sulfate-free shampoo. Silicones create a barrier that prevents nutrients from penetrating the hair. Silicones lead to build-up and dry hair for me due to my choice of natural hair care products that are sulfate-free.Unfortunately, this Brzeaf Heat Protector spray contains the silicone dimethicone as the 2nd ingredient, behind water as the 1st ingredient. Basically, this heat protectant spray is predominantly silicone, making it entirely unsuitable for my hair. Brzeaf does not disclose the full ingredients in their listing. They only list the beneficial, natural ingredients that attract positive attention. Unfortunately, those ingredients come towards the end of the ingredient list. These beneficial ingredients are unlikely to provide much benefit to hair that has a silicone barrier that prevents them from penetrating the hair. Had I been able to read the full list of ingredients in the listing, I never would have ordered this heat protector spray. It’s upsetting to find out a product is not suitable only after buying it. I’m not saying that this product is bad. It is just unsuitable for someone who uses sulfate-free shampoo that is not capable of removing it. It may be perfect for someone who uses a harsher shampoo that is capable of stripping the silicone from the hair. A lot of heat protectants, as well as other styling products, contain silicone. It is not uncommon. Silicone makes the hair look smoother and less frizzy, but that does not mean the hair is healthier.I am not going to give this product a bad rating because I wasn’t able to use it. My choice of shampoo dictates which hair products are suitable for me and this one does not qualify. It is formulated like many other heat protectants on the market, which also would not be suitable for my hair. There are silicone-free heat protectants available and those are the ones I need to purchase for my specific needs. I will be deducting a star for the lack of disclosure of the ingredients in this product. This is extremely important information that consumers are entitled to see before making a purchase. It upsets me when companies keep it from customers because we are the ones who end up wasting our money on a product we can’t use. Had they shared the full list of ingredients, I would have been able to make an educated decision on whether it was suitable for my hair or not. At the time of order, there were no pictures of the ingredient list that had been uploaded by customers. Now there are pictures of the full ingredient list so be sure to review it to see if this heat protectant meets your needs before ordering.

Frizz control and heat protection
It smells good and works good! I spray on wet or dry hair and let sit for a minute or two so it really gets in the hair and dries on hair before I straighten or blow dry. It leaves my hair a little softer and protected from the elements.

OK, But Feels a Little Heavy
I have very fine hair and a lot of it, cut into a chin-length bob. My hair can get frizzy or it can be sleek and shiny, depending on a number of factors, including atmospheric humidity and styling.There is enough liquid in here to last for some time. I’ve used it probably a dozen times by now with four or five sprays per use and I’ve barely put a dent in it. The spray is even and doesn’t seem to gunk up. It’s a good value for the money.In terms of heat protection it does seem to work well, but compared with my usual heat protectant, this one is a little heavier because of the oils in it, so I have to be careful not to weigh my hair down with too much mousse or other heavy products. I will use this but I won’t rebuy it. It may be better for folks with hair that is courser and needs a bit more intensity.

Makes hair smooth and shiney!
I have used this a few times and really tried to pay attention to how well it works. I feel like you only know a heat protectant spray is working if you see some shine and smoothness, but I don’t know if that actually means it is protecting the hair from heat. From what I understand about the chemistry behind these kinds of sprays is that it is costing the hair and providing moisture to the hair so that the hair shaft doesn’t loose its natural moisture to evaporatation as you use heat tools. So, I noted that as I flat ironed my hair there was steem visibility rising, which I don’t usually have, so it had to be the product that was evaporating. My hair is definitely more smooth with less flyaways. It has stayed smooth and soft between washes and styles as well. There is also more of a shine to my hair after using this product. Not as much as if I had used a laminateor spray, but just a healthy sheen. This spray doesn’t have much of a sent, which I think is way better then having an overwhelming sent. My only complaint is that this doesn’t spray evenly. It is definitely sprays heavily in some spots and hardly any in another. I tried to spray quickly and move the bottle around as I sprayes then brushed it through trying to get it so spread out. I think that worked well enough because I do not have patches where it looks frizzy and everything else is smooth. Over all I like this product. I would give it 5 stars if it would spray and mist evenly and if the sent was more pleasant.

Really works and no harsh smell
I love wearing tape and extensions but my problem is I like to curl and straighten them and unfortunately the heat really doesn’t number on them. I have had my tape in extensions in for probably 2 months now and I definitely credit this spray with helping keep them soft and manageable. The bleach blonde ones normally are trashed out within a few weeks but I feel like because I use the spray on them before I put any heat on them they’ve really held up. The spray also doesn’t have a bad smell or clash with any other products I use which I really appreciate.

Great hair protectant
This heat protectant spray is great! After applying and blow drying my hair, it looks shinier and smells great! It does not leave my hair feeling greasy or sticky but more light and soft. I would absolutely buy this again!
