Works really well and from a well known brand

Hair no more!
I’ve had this well over a year now, it’s held up so well and has done wonders for me. I never used to have thick leg hairs but as I’ve gotten older my hormones had made them a lot thicker and more noticeable. Using this once a week for at least 6 weeks the first go round with now once a month, my leg hairs are back to normal. Very slow growth, thinner, and can hardly tell I have any hair.Has also been helpful with the unruly underarm and bikini area hairs. Been hesitant on trying on any facial hairs as the light is pretty strong. I’ve tried so many other at-home options and this has made the most difference though.Usage is super easier but sometimes finding the right angle to place it can be tricky around smaller areas. My only complaint is that I don’t know how to turn it off without just unplugging it. I swear I read the whole manual ahead of time and still can’t figure it out but oh well it still functions well.

It works better than I expected!
Iâm pretty impressed with this little guy for the price. Iâve been doing it about 6 weeks now and have about a 75% reduction in hair, which is way better than I was hoping for! It is kind of annoying and time consuming – for legs, bikini, and underarms, it takes me about half an hour – but it doesnât hurt and is totally worth it! Shaving takes no time at all now, and Iâm excited to see how much more of a reduction I get as I keep using it. Overall, I was dubious and heavily debated getting the nicer Braun ipl (thatâs a lot more expensive), but this is totally working how I wanted it to! I recommend it as long as youâve got a spare 30-40 min once a week for a few months!

Great initially, but does not last
This was AMAZING when I first got it. I quickly saw a slowing of hair growth and it is relatively pain free. After about six months it started flashing much slower, though. It seems like it is trying to avoid overheating. It starts at a normal speed and gets slower and slower. It now takes four to five times as long to use. After using this I can confirm IPLs are effective, but this one could have better longevity.

12/24/23:THINGS I APRECIATE: I used this for the first time and first IPL device so I donât have anything to compare it to. Doing this review so others who are interested can also see. The size of the device is the size of my iPhone XS with a thin case over it. AS A FIRST TIME USER, I read ALL the instructions. I have dark hair and fair skin. I do have photosensitivity due to my immune system and medicine I take. However, it did not sting when I was using it on my face. Some people are describing it like a rubber band being snapped on then but thatâs not the case. I used it on moustache and chin hairs and when the light flashed, you could smell burned hair but the hair was still there if you didnât get a close shave. The skin sensor works well so if itâs doesnât have full contact with the skin, it will show red and not flash until itâs pink or white. No discoloration as the moment. The cord is long so if youâre standing, it can reach your face with cord left over (Iâm 5â1).THINGS I DONT LIKE: It says that can you just look away when using IPL (for the flash) and your eyes should be good but I donât know. I wish it came with glasses- so I bought some IPL certified glasses from âPhillips Safetyâ bc I only have one set of eyeballs. One other thing, for that price, I also wish it came with 2 more razors and not just 1. Another thing that I donât like is that you canât tell what area you did so thereâs a high chance I may have missed some spots- thinking thatâs why there is the gliding option but if youâre hoping for one spot, I find it a little hard.

I was very hopeful because itâs a Braun, they generally have a good reputation. Iâve been using it for several months now and just have noticed no positive effects.
