CALLING ALL PEOPLE WITH TMJ SYNDROME!! BUY THIS ASAP!
If you have TMJ syndrome/TMD you NEED this!! Iâve come to the conclusion that this is the best product ever created for TMJ syndrome. Itâs amazing for TMD ear fullness, face pain, and jaw pain (itâs the complete package). The multi-use packs are amazing (love that you can freeze them or put them in the microwave). In terms of size, the Velcro straps make it easily adjustable to all head shapes and sizes. Lastly, itâs very comfortable! Even though my head was wrapped in this ridiculous looking thing, I completely forgot that it was there and was able to comfortably do chores. I canât recommend this product enough â truly lifesaving!

Worked perfectly for daughterâs tonsillectomy recovery. Two sets of durable, quality ice packs worked well in rotation. As a bonus, the head wrap made quite a fashion statement and was the cherry on this post operative sundae.

Versatile+Skincare Game Changer
This Face Pack is a game changer for my daily skincare routine! I love that it includes 4 gel packs that can be used for both hot and cold therapy, the extras are great for backup or when extended use of the head wrap is needed! There are two pockets for the gel packs (one on either side of the wrap) that line up perfectly with the temple/eye area and cheek bones!Pros: So far this face wrap is pretty versitile. I like that I can use two gel packs simultaneously on either side of my face, then when needed I have the ability to use only one gel pack and place the wrap just about any where on my body. I anticipate using this to help ease possible headaches in the future!Cons: The only downside I can see so far is that the comfort of the wrap (when laying down) seems to be a hit or miss. Hence the 4 star comfort rating. The product itself is good quality and verywell made, unfortunately the piping around the wrap is rather stiff and can somewhat dig into your neck if your head isn’t positioned correctly. This could also be due to the newness of the product and may just need to be worn in.

Great for tonsillectomy
Saved my life during my tonsillectomy. It was the only thing that helped my ear pain and allowed me to sleep. The ice packs donât stay cold for very long, which is the only downside. However, it comes with two sets of ice packs, so just make sure that you always have one pair in the freezer when you switch them out and you should be good to go!

Amazing for wisdom tooth removal
I definitely suggest this for anyone who is getting their wisdom teeth removed. I ordered mine a few days before my procedure so that I could prep it.It comes with four little gel packs and the wrap it self only uses two at a time. I put all four packs in the freezer before my surgery so that theyâd be ready when I got back. I iced my face with these the first two days and it helped a ton with the swelling. I will say that sometimes after itâs been on for awhile the ice stops feeling cold through the fabric but when that happens I take the gel pack out and just put it directly on my face.After day 2 I would start warming the packs instead of using ice because the warming helps more with pain and jaw tension. I donât put mine in the microwave i instead just boil some water using my kettle. When the water is boiled I pour it in a bowl on top of the packs and let it sit for 5 mins. Then I use tongs to take the packs out and put them in the wrap! It works perfectly and they stay warm for awhile.I couldnât recommend these more theyâve made my healing so much easier!

Update: This is 6 weeks after I started using this. Technically, I should not need it anymore, but it feels good. I use each ice pack once a day and the band itself twice a day, every day for 6 weeks. It has held up very well- no problems, but I do want to point out that now, after wearing it much more than most people do, the side opposite the Velcro is losing whatever ‘nap’ that was on the fabric and the Velcro does not hold as well. Still, I feel it held up very well considering the constant use and I would buy it again.I don’t know how you can make them better than this. I came home after jaw surgery with the doctor’s set-up. Promptly got allergic to whatever it was made of- imagine inflamed, rashy skin in addition to the surgery?!!!This is soft and does not provoke allergies or rash on me. There is a chin cut-out. The gel packs get cold quickly and last a long time (over 20 minutes) when “installed”. The velcro does not get caught up in my hair, and I can wear this a few ways, as I need to adjust it. It is way more comfortable then the one I came home with.If you need this sort of stabilizer, this is the one. The gel packs that I got sent home with were even worse than the band itself- stayed cold maybe five minutes.Another positive point is these gel packs can be bent a few times when you put them in the pockets, making them very flexible so I can really get this to conform to my head.Can’t comment on effectiveness with heat. The price is more than reasonable for the quality design.

Comfort and ease of use
I bought this product thinking it would be easier to ice my face using this following my facelift. What I didnât expect was how much easier it was to use this in place of the ace wrap that they send you home with and you need to keep on 24/7. The wrap kept slipping off, so I just replaced it altogether with this face wrap and everything stays in place. Half of recovery is comfort and this made a huge difference. My first postop visit back to the office I was wearing this, the nurse’s couldnât believe it. They thought it was brilliant! They were definitely going to present it to the surgeon, I will see him in a few days. Canât imagine not using this instead of the Ace wraps. One big suggestion in using this, as you see in the picture, is to put a hair clip in front of it and this will definitely keep it from slipping. It has no effect while sleeping. You can leave it in.
