Great for outdoor use â no white cast!
Iâve tried a lot of natural sunscreens, and this Tallow sunscreen is one of the best. It goes on super smoothly and doesnât leave a white cast at all, which is rare for mineral-based products. The texture is light and not greasy, so it works great under makeup too. I wore it during long outdoor hikes and had zero irritation or breakouts. Highly recommend for anyone with sensitive skin who spends time outside!

This beef tallow sunscreen is a bit different from the usual formulas Iâve tried. Iâve used beef tallow creams in the past for moisturizing at night, and I liked how rich and skin-friendly they feel. So when I saw a sunscreen version using the same base, I ordered it.I first used it during a weekend trip to the beach with my family. I applied it to the more sensitive areas that tend to burn quickly, like the tops of my shoulders and the back of my neck. The texture is thick but smooth, and it spreads easily. I like it didn’t leave white cast. Thatâs often been a problem with other mineral sunscreens Iâve tried.After a few hours in the sun (with reapplication), I didnât experience sunburn. When I got home and showered, my skin still felt soft and hydrated. Thatâs something I really appreciated, especially after a day of sun and saltwater. One thing to note is that, it does feel a bit heavier than the lightweight lotions Iâm used to.
