Luxurious and Effective
Iâve been using this product for a month now and I LOVE it!1. A little goes a long way, as with all Beauty of Joseon products. I love them all by the way.2. Very nice and smooth going on my face. I look forward to using it almost everyday. I switch up with the Joseon Green Plum Refreshing Cleanser but I like this cleansing balm better. It feels like Iâm rubbing luxury on my skin. Face and neck.3. I do not wear makeup. This is not just for makeup removal! I use it to clean my face and I do not have to follow up with a face wash. This works fine on its own.4. This is the only cleansing product that shrinks the strawberry pores on my nose! Beauty of Joseon Red Bean Refreshing Pore Mask also works but itâs not a cleanser and I do not use it everyday like this cleansing balm.5. It goes on like an oily cream but rinses off like water. That doesnât make sense does it? Iâm trying to say itâs not a messy and it rinses right off easily!6. My face feels so smooth and hydrated when Iâm finished! Of course I still follow up with my moisturizers (mixsoon and castor oil), but it doesnât leave my face ridiculously dry like some other products.7. Soothing and gentle, even with Accutane.
Iâve been on accutane for 3-4 months now and have been dealing with extreme dryness and skin sensitivity since starting, so finding skincare products that are gentle enough to not disrupt my already compromised skin barrier while also being efficacious is a challenge. The reviews are right: this is gentle, luxurious, moisturizing, and incredible effective at removing dirt, sunscreen, and makeup (in my case, skin tints to cover up redness).My skin felt like butter afterwards, but in a good way. It was soft and silky whilst not being greasy. It washes off with just water incredibly well without needing to use any cotton pads or a towel. Just put the balm on dry skin, rub it in for around 2-3 minutes, and wash it off with water (whether that be in your sink or your shower). I, personally, donât think Iâd like need to use a water-based cleanser afterwards, but it never hurts to go in with a regular facial cleanser to really make sure youâve removed any remaining residue/dirt/oil (though it does this well by itself).It has no fragrance/smell and the ingredient list looks to be good, with no harsh or irritating ingredients to be found. A solid product overall. Definitely give this a try!

BOJ has never done me wrong but …
This is a great quality cleansing balm overall. I’m a guy so I wasn’t looking to remove a lot of make-up or anything just a cleansing option that’s super moisturizing for my dry skin especially as I’m getting older and seeing more lines. It leaves your skin feeling clean but soft and hydrated. My only complaint is that I started to get more breakouts and large pimples after a month or so of using it. I never break but it’s kind of a given with a balmy product like this and my skin but it was great while it lasted. I guess I’m just meant to look old and dry if I don’t want acne/breakouts.

Great for taking off makeup!
I use this nightly as part of my double cleanse. It doesnât have any sort of strong smell, and is safe for my sensitive skin. Takes my makeup off beautifully, including mascara, without being too greasy. Has a nice little plastic applicator inside. I generally use Clinique but this is every bit as good and more affordable.

effective 1st cleanse!
I love this cleansing balm, it’s effective at removing waterproof SPF and mascara, yet doesn’t leave a greasy film, it rinses clean, it’s gentle, and non-scented. I love the package design, it comes with a flip lid and scoop (more sanitary). I’ve repurchased this several times and it’s def a winner in my skincare rotation.

Beautiful cleansing balm!
If you’re looking for an easy cleansing balm that dissolves every bit of makeup and leaves behind nothing but squeaky clean, radiant skin, this is it! Non-drying, but it does leave skin feeling very clean with zero residue left behind. I recommend removing product with a hot, damp washcloth after application as an extra exfoliation step. Highly recommend!

This is an amazing cleansing balm, on the website it says not for removal of heavy make up but I beg to differ. Iâm a heavy make up wearer and the tiniest amount goes a very long way. This rub lasts me around 2 months and I use it once a day. I melt away my make up, rinse a little with warm water then use a cloth to remove the excess and it leaves my skin feeling soooooo fresh. Iâve had no reaction to this and my skin can be sensitive, itâs light and despite being an oil cleanser itâs not greasy at all.
