Calming
This is my favorite body lotion and the only one I buy. I love the lavender scent and how my skin feels after applying it. It claims to have a relaxing effect and I have noticed I do feel calmer after using it, mostly because I feel refreshed but also because of that calming lavender scent.My one issue is that it is so hard to get all of the product out of the container, which you really want to do to get the full value for your money. When itâs almost empty, I have to bang it on the counter pretty hard to move the remaining product to the bottom. I recently found it helpful to get one of those long spatulas meant to help get remaining product out. Thatâs really helped solve the issue!

Different Smell, Still Amazing
Another reviewer I noticed on here mentioned that this scent IS different from the purple top Lavender calming Aveeno and that’s actually true. It smells noticeably different and a little more mild in the lavender department. If that’s a deal breaker for you, I’d say skip the brown top version. But for me, I actually prefer this scent! It’s a little less sweet and for me smells a little more gender neutral. So if you’re sensitive to strong/sweet smells, or want a yummy smelling lotion that doesn’t smell too traditionally feminine, this one might be for you.I have very sensitive skin and I’m OCD, so I wash my hands many, many times a day, sometimes until my hands are red and cracked. So I use lotion after every hand wash to keep my hands soft and pain free. I ordered this and it was delayed a day so I was without it for about 24 hours. My hands were bright red, cracked, dry, and hurting really badly.When I got it out of the Amazon locker last night, I immediately started using it. Less than 24 hours later, my hands are almost completely healed. They aren’t dry, the redness is gone, and there is no more pain. This is the best lotion for my sensitive skin and I tend to keep a fragrance free bottle at work to use throughout the day.If you’re looking for something to soothe painful or dry skin, I totally recommend this. And the scent is mild enough that you could use it all over your body and not be overwhelmed! Definitely recommend.

Moisturizing
Been using this product for years. I especially use after showers. Leaves my skin feeling moisturized and smelling good. The lotion also soaks into the skin and doesnât leave a filmy residue. I have sensitive skin and have never had any issues with this product. Thereâs a lot of lotion so it lasts a long time. Only downfall is I rather buy the smaller bottles since when this one gets âlowâ itâs hard to get the lotion out even though thereâs still a lot of lotion left since itâs such a big bottle. I also use the matching body wash which I also recommend.

(Btw Amlactin is GREAT for people w super dry, almost scaly, point of no return kind of skin like on my legs. literally looks normal now after a month of using in the morning and night. Also good on acne!!)I originally bought a small bottle of this stress relief lotion from Safeway for a couple dollars more than this listing and I loved it. Iâm so happy I found this large bottle for way cheaper. Itâs truly a online shopping dream. Bigger bottle, less expensive, shipped to my house. I couldnât be happier w this find.I know this review is for the Aveeno but Iâm telling you if you have dry/super oily skin, Amlactin is where itâs at. I use it for my whole body- mostly for my legs and my face. Got rid of my acne. Acne that never went away even after trying curology and seeing a real dermatologist lol.The Amlactin has a subtle window cleaner type of smell but mixing it w the Aveeno stress relief makes it bearable when applying it to the face! Sounds sketchy, but it works for me! Iâm an active 26yo and the combination of these two lotions really changed my skin!Thanks for reading a mini rant

I found this lotion quite heavy, a cream rather than a lotion, and not easily absorbed, requires some effort to rub in and left me feeling a little greasy. The other problem is the spout, you twist to unlock it but it doesn’t pop-up, stays at the same low level making a bit difficult to get your palm under the spout.
