Provides volume to thin, straight hair!
The Alterna Caviar Volume Masque is exactly what my fine, limp, straight hair needed and that’s lots of volume and shine. After shampooing, I applied the masque and kept it in my hair for 5 minutes and then rinsed, towel dried, and then blow dried my hair. I could tell right away that my hair felt a little thicker and fuller, and when I styled it with a curling iron, I actually had body curls that lasted all day with just a little bit of hairspray. There were also less flyaway hairs, and my hair looked silky and shiny. Some conditioners actually weigh my hair down, but this masque is very lightweight, and I would particularly recommend it to those with fine hair that is hard to style. It is a little pricey, but a little goes a long way depending on the thickness of your hair.

Pricey but it works
I love Alterna hair products and was excited to try out this Anti-Aging Multiplying Volume Masque. Although it’s pricey, it does a fantastic job of adding moisture to my hair. The scent is divine and I appreciate the clean ingredients. I use this a couple times per week and have noticed an improvement in the overall strength of my hair. I also find it easier to detangle my hair after using this, and overall my hair has added volume. I like to use this on days where I plan to do blowouts. Great quality, just wish it was a bit more affordable especially for those of us with longer hair.

Soft shiny hair with a bit more volume.
I’d heard so much about Alterna CAVIAR Anti-Aging Multiplying Volume Masque that I couldn’t wait to try it. My hair is wavy and fine and could use more volume, so this mask seemed to be perfect for me. The directions say to use this one or two times a week instead of conditioner, and it only took a few pumps to coat my hair from root to tips. I left it on for about 5 minutes, rinsed, then left it to air dry. The results were mostly good, with more volume at the roots and nice shine. I did have more frizz than is typical, which was a bit disappointing, but I used a little oil on the ends and that problem was solved. My hair looked great after that, and I’m happy with the results.While I do think this is a lovely mask, it’s not quite there. I could have used a bit more moisture than this provides, especially at the ends, and the scent is a bit heavy for my taste. It’s also slightly more expensive than some other masks I’ve been using that give comparable results. I have yet to find one that gives me the volume I want, and while this is good, it’s not quite in HG territory. Everyone’s hair is different, though, and if you have hair that needs less hydration, this might be perfect for you. It’s certainly high-quality, and the results, while not perfect, are better than most.

Game Changer for Damaged Hair
I am in love with this product. I have been experiencing dry hair no matter what conditioner I use for a while now. I’ve had some success with a few leave-in conditioners, but still felt like I needed more. I could tell this product was superior the moment I pumped the product into my hand. Pleasantly, lightly scented, it almost looked like a pearl that had been made into a cream. I applied to my hair, focusing on my long hair that has damage all the way down to the tips. I left it on for a few minutes and rinsed. Since it wasn’t a thick conditioner, and typically “damage repair” thick conditioners are what I’ve tried in the past, I didn’t know what to expect. Almost miraculously I was able to brush my long hair with just my brush – no detangling spray or cream/oils. This hasn’t been possible for me for forever – like two decades forever! I have definitely noticed an improvement in the texture of my hair from the first use. I’m not sure I’ve ever had that kind of success with any product ever before. This is a true gem in hair care and is worth the investment. My hair is long and pretty damaged. This stuff has really been a game changer for me. I am going to continue to use this product and I highly recommend it, especially if your hair needs an improvement in texture and moisture through-and-through. Excellent product!

More Frizz
This left my dry hair frizzier than expected. I used in place of conditioner per directions and saw more frizz than volume. Zero moisture and very hard to comb out while wet. I will try it again with mixed with some conditioner and hopefully see better results.

Nice Find
The Alterna CAVIAR Anti-Aging Multiplying Volume Masque is a nice find. It arrived on time and as expected. I like the upscale look and feel of the product bottle materials. The masque has a nice consistency and is easy to use. It can be used in place of conditioner 1-2 times per week. I appreciate the quality ingredients in the product including sea kelp, keratin, panthenol, and biotin. These ingredients are helpful with adding moisture, supporting hair structure, and adding volume. My hair isn’t too thick or thin but can always use a boost of volume, thickness, and softness. This product delivers these results. I think it’s a good value for money and would recommend it to others.

Perfect Mask for Fine, Wavy Hair
My wife and I both have fine, wavy hair and we really love this mask from Alterna. We use it once or twice a week as they suggest, and we skip conditioner when we do. It makes our hair feel fuller, shinier, and way less frizzy. It adds volume without making hair heavy or needing a bunch of extra products. My wife especially loves how much more body her hair has now.Alterna is a bit pricier than some brands, but you can tell the quality is there, in the ingredients and the packaging. The bottle feels fancy and well made, so it feels like a premium product thatâs worth the price.If you want a good volumizing mask for fine or limp hair, this one is definitely worth trying.
