Works okay, soft bristles
The toothbrush looks exactly as pictured. It comes with the charging cable, and four replacement heads. The bristles on the brush don’t rotate but vibrate. You can choose between 5 different modes of cleaning, and I am not sure I can tell the difference. The bristles are on the softer side. It works okay, but I do prefer the round rotating brushes from different brands.

Just your Average Toothbrush!
I’ve been using this as my daily driver for a few days, and it’s held up pretty well. I’ve cycled through a bunch of non-brand electric toothbrushes, and this one doesn’t really lack anything compared to others. It has pretty much the same experience: equal-ish brush strength, little variance between brush modes, etc. It isn’t really the bristles themselves that rotate much, as it is the end of the brush that vibrates. That aside, I do like how the button on the toothbrush is a physical button, so it isn’t nearly as hard to click even when your fingers are wet or there’s toothpaste covering the button.Haven’t been able to very the battery life yet, but I’ll come back to the review once it dies.

On par with Sonicare
I’ve been using a Sonicare toothbrush for close to 20 years now. I still have one of the larger original models. It works great, but it’s large and heavy, and not ideal for travel. It’s also getting more difficult to find replacement heads. My wife has one of the newer, slimmer, lighter models, and I have to admit I’ve been a bit jealous. So when I saw this pop up, and figured it might be time to enter the 21st century with my toothbrush, and I’m glad I did. This model has a variety of settings, each with its own indicator light, so you always know which mode you’re using. (My old Sonicare has two settings, but no indication of which is which.). I was just at Costco, and this Smile-O-Villa model seems to be right in line with the current Sonicare options available. So I think you can feel safe that you’re getting the latest technology.Use has been very easy … the same as Sonicare. But the thing I’m most excited about is that it seems to be set up to use the same brush heads as my wife’s Sonicare, so there shouldn’t be any more hunting for two different types of brushes.

Will this be a quality electric toothbrush?
It does pretty much the same as the other brushes do that I bought in the last few years for around $10-20. I think it is overpriced, though. It just went up from $40 to a whopping $60. My last one lasted only a year before the button fell apart so I will have to update the review in a year I guess. At that price point it should last like 10 years and I certainly will increase star rating if it does. My question, though, will the company Smile-O-Villa from China be around in 10 years, or available for any warranty claims if it fails within a year, which one should expect at that price point? We shall see!

Exactly what waspromissed
Out of the box, it works fine and seems to be effective. The small gripe, which is not the manufacturer’s fault, but more a response to a completely valid EU policy, is that while it comes with a base and charging cord, it does NOT contain a charging block. That note aside, I’m happy with it.

it works so well!
I got this toothbrush for my son who has a lot of trouble brushing his teeth. So I wanted to get him a toothbrush that would be very effective and work well. I also won one that had multiple replacement heads so that I would not have to go out and buy more in a couple of months. At this rate, I have 4 to 6 months before I have to worry about getting him any more replacements. He said that it is superior and cleaning his teeth bar better than using a regular toothbrush. Iâve also gotten him the cheap ones. He says this one is so much better. He is also had a couple of the really expensive ones, but he has told me he likes this one better Because itâs easy to use.
