Affordable, Compact, Quality BP Monitor
I have used Omron monitors in the past and this one is on or near the same quality for considerably less cost. The armband has good quality material and is easy to put on and take off. The display is easy to read.The monitor only uses 4 AA batteries and does not use AC outlet power. That is fine for me but it may be a factor for you depending on your preference.The con is that it was shipped in its actual product box with no external Amazon box. It could have easily been damaged in shipping (but luckily it was not).

One year updateâIâve upped my rating to 5 stars. My wife and I have used this device for a year. Couldnât be more pleased. It only sips electricity, apparently, because the batteries last a very long time, even with regular use. The doctor is pleased that it is reliable enough for home use. If you are careful to place to cuff properly and make it snug, it rarely fails to complete the cycle due to user error. Couldnât be more pleased.Very simple to use. The cuff is a bit large for a very small adult but it works. Truly a âpush the buttonâ device. As simple as it can get. Not sure as to battery use or accuracy, yet, but it is taking a reading very close to my old device. I plan on taking it in to my doctor next month to compare to his mercury device. But for basic home monitoring it appears quite adequate. Great buy at this price. Pros: easy placement of the cuff with one handâI like the marked placement lines. Cons: largish for very small adult.

Surpassed my expectations!During my general Internal Medicine practice, one Astra Zeneca drug rep., gave me few samples of BP meter to be given to patients who are started on Atacand (new BP med), about 15 years ago. One of the meter is still with me and works perfectly. When I looked for one to buy for my personal use, I made sure the it be from A & D Engineering , INC in Milpitas, CA 95035.I am using it several times a day. It is high quality, validated in testiings and very easy to use. Amazon sold me at a great price, too and was delivered to my door well packed in 2 days.If anyone who needs an advise about which brand or make is the best; this is the one -as shown above A&D Medical Upper Arm Digital Blood…….

Buyer Beware. It isn’t accurate and you can’t return it
I received this on 6/23; took it to my Dr. appoint 6/28. It read 24 points higher than the Doctor’s monitor. I was told not to use it. I tried to return it, but I just end up in a loop telling me to trouble shoot the problem. The ad in Amazon show:”Ships from AmazonSold by A&D CompanyReturns Eligible for Refund or Replacement “But when you drill down it says :”This item is non-returnable, but if the item arrives damaged or defective, you may request a refund or replacement.”The monitor is defective. But, there is no way to process a return request. I was foolish to believe the information included in the Amazon ad. I now have a useless monitor and am out $30.00

I took my blood pressure cuff to my cardiologist to reconfirm its accuracy. I got a very favorable response with very little difference between the one I purchased on Amazon and the one that the medical staff used at the office.
