Great for my thick & curly hair
This shampoo and conditioner is perfect for my thick curly hair. It helps to soften but not weigh it down. I feel itâs a little pricey for me because I have such long thick hair, but I keep buying it because it is nice. And helps keep any itchiness away. The scent is nice. And I never have issues getting all the product out!

Iâve been looking for a shampoo with cleaner ingredients- that also actually cleans my hair. This one is great! It has a wonderful mint/eucalyptus scent and leaves my hair feeling very clean!

Back of bottle photo does not match
I just received my order of the Vivacious Volume with Mint and Echinacea. Somehow (tired eyes, tiny type), I missed that it has aloe in it, which I am allergic to. My husband will have to use this instead of me. It smells nice though, and not too strong.But I went back to this Amazon page and checked ingredients to be sure I was the one who made the mistake, and I want to point out, to anyone else who is sensitive to any ingredient, that the photo of the back of the bottle does not match the bottle I received. It looks the same, but the ingredient list on the bottle in the photo does not match the ingredient list on my bottle that I received yesterday. So do not rely on the photo to determine ingredients for this.The ingredient list that is typed at the bottom of the product listing does seem to list all the ingredients that my actual bottle lists, so you should be able to rely on that.

Very nice for thin, Dutch hair
I have been using this product for several months now and can now accurately say that I do like it. My hair has been soft and easy to comb through. I have very thin, long, Dutch hair that breaks easily and is also prone to difficult tangles, but my hair seems to like this product. It is more costly than a store bought shampoo, but in comparison to other fragrance-free shampoos that are available, this one was among the more reasonably priced, afforable ones. One note about the shampoo, if you are switching from a store bought shampoo to this, you may at first find that it does not lather as much and this took a bit to get used to. I had a little trouble with some greasiness at the back of my skull, but it seems that after a week or two I did not have any trouble with this so I think that my head and hair needed to adjust to the switch, I learned the correct amount to use, and I also learned to just rub a little extra at the back of my neck. I no longer have any issues with the greasiness at all, and I really don’t use very much at a time. My hair is very long, at least down to my elbows.

Another win for Acure!
This shampoo is helping my hair get back to itself. After the virus, my hair started falling out and I was afraid I would be bald. My hair was very thin to begin with. I used this product for a month. I began to notice that my strands were thicker than they were before. I noticed that I have new growth. I noticed that the blonde hair color I used over a year ago is finally fading out and my natural (not grey!) hair color is coming back, which Iâm so happy with! My hair also shines! The only thing shining before was my scalp under my very fine hair.The product is clear, has no harsh chemicals or scents, it lathers well and rinses clean. It does add volume to my fine, limp locks.To be honest and fair, I should also say that I have started eating super healthy, drinking tons of water and have switched to all natural everything since Iâve been diagnosed with some scary things since the virus.My hair and my skin are responding very well to Acure products and this shampoo is my favorite!

Doesnât lather
Smells nice but doesnât lather well so I feel I have to use quite a bit to get clean hair. If I do manage to use enough to get somewhere, I do feel it cleans my hair.

My husband has been asking me to swap out my shower products for something with less chemicals and harmful ingredients for about a year⦠our shower drain keeps getting clogged with âgooâ from my (typical) hair products. I finally decided to try something more natural with this shampoo and was amazed! Mine and my daughterâs hair feels so much lighter and fresher! I also use the conditioner and was delighted that it actually detangled my hair! Didnât think that was going to happen. My daughterâs hair looks sooo much cleaner without the residual product left in her hair.
