Tremendous Value for the $$$
This first aid kit is AWESoME! The first thing I noticed was the nice hard case that comes with 2 zippers, a handle, a shoulder strap, and is bright RED with First Aid Kit in bright white. (Which will make it easy to locate).I really liked all of the items included. It even came with a glow stick and good working/accurate compass Incase your emergency is at night time and you need to quickly get your bearing. There is a list in the advertisement and I found it to be accurate. Definite 5 Stars for the $!

Good range of items, easy to store
Red and white for easily finding, though a black version is available if you don’t want it to stand out. Sides are soft enough that it can give a little but otherwise firm–it’s neither hard side nor soft side but something in-between. I tested the “waterproof zipper” by emptying out the case, stuffing some paper towels in, and placing it in a utility sink. Then I ran the cold water on it for about 30 seconds and opened it again to see if it resisted that. (See picture of setup so you can judge fairness for yourself). It completely failed, the paper towels were soaked. The zipper is not waterproof, despite what the listing says. It’s not a sieve either. Just don’t leave it in the rain or dump your canoe and you should be ok.I put all of the items out on a table and compared them to a checklist made from a printout of the picture in the listing. All of the items were present. Nothing added, nothing missing. Being uninjured at the moment, I couldn’t truly test the individual items. They look normal, not premium, but not crooked or dried out etc. The range of items makes sense to me in that most things I can think of are in there, particularly a nice selection of self-sticking pad shapes for different situations. There are some tools included. The scissors looks and feels weak, but it actually cuts really well–I folded some junkmail and it went right through it, so I folded it again and it still went right through it in a straight line, so looks were deceiving with this one. The compass did not work. I don’t know why a first aid kit needs a noticeably cheap plastic compass, but it pointed pretty randomly when I moved it around and it stopped in different directions and I know the correct directions here because of gardening. I don’t consider this a big deal because I have no idea how a compass would be used for first aid in a location where you weren’t already carrying a better compass. The tweezers are adequate general-purpose ones–reasonable pressure to grab something and put it on, but not able to really squeeze something like I would want if pulling out some splinters because they just bend at that point, more than the ones I typically use for the splinters I often get from woodworking. However, there is a pack of “splinter probes”–I never used one so I can’t fairly judge, but it looks interesting and I’m going to try it next time.Something I would have liked to see come with the kit is a half-size pen so that you can write notes on the instructions if you have to. There is enough extra space inside the case to add a few other things that might be useful but which I wouldn’t want to show up randomly in a kit, like medicine tablets. You should know that all of the items are in relatively small amounts, but obviously, it is meant to be an emergency kit with some of everything. So if you find that you use something frequently, you can also use the extra space to just add a whole “real” package of that.Overall, I give this 4 stars. I like the portability and range of items. Incorrect information about water resistance may trouble some depending on the usage scenario.
