Very sharp, easy to clean.
It’s sharp and these are real needles, that’s a good thing. They will wear down over time. Easy to clean and the case is pretty good too.

Super effective
Absolutely incredible that this works. In my experience, using this tool along with minoxidil is much more effective than using minoxidil alone.

Good
I am new to dermarolling. We will see if it helps in time. I would recommend this one for now

As advertised, easy to hold, but go easy
This roller is exactly as advertised which is nice. It comes in a decent case but recommends cleaning or at least rinsing with hot water, before and after use. I would recommend letting it air dry before placing it back in your case after use/cleaning as to keep bacteria from growing inside the case or on the roller prongs themselves if put away wet. The handle is easy to hold and maneuver around your face but I would definitely suggest light pressure. Even the smaller 0.5 size doesn’t require much pressure or application to do it’s job. Maybe watch a few videos on the best way to roll and with what frequency but it isn’t hard to do at home. When finished, apply with your favorite serum, toner, moisturizer, etc. You might experience some light tingling where you applied product post rolling but it isn’t uncomfortable. My hope is that it is more the product penetrating deeper into the skin than anything else really.

This derma roller makes my skin look younger!
I use it twice per week and I can’t believe the way it has generated collagen!

Good quality micro-needle device
This item is a plastic micro-needling roller device with metal needles. These devices are also called derma rollers. The roller contains 540 micro needles made of stainless steel. Each needle is 0.5ml in length. There is a 0.25ml version available as well, which may be better suited for those new to micro-needling. This roller device comes with a nice plastic case to keep it safe when not in use. Key to successful micro-needling is cleanliness. First, always disinfect the roller before and after use. The product information suggests using alcohol, which is fine. I also use hydrogen peroxide in a spray bottle. When you spray these liquids you may want to wear a mask to not inhale the mist or at least spray far away from yourself. You are suppose cleanse the area of skin you are going to micro-needle. I may use an alcohol pad to run on the skin, or I may use a disinfectant soap or shampoo. What you don’t want is an infection. I would spend a little time researching best practices for micro-needling besides reading the included instructions. Note that the 0.5ml needles sometimes draws blood, which is also why keeping everything clean is important. There are different techniques to rolling, I just go up and down 5 times, then side to side followed by some diagonal rolling, all 5 times. I don’t do micro-needling in an area more than twice in a week and usually just once per week. You want time for your skin to rejuvenate. This is what I do, and that may not be the method best for you. This is a nice quality micro-needle tool with a handle that is easy to hold, assisting in better control of the rolling motions. The price point is reasonable. I am happy with this micro-roller.

Brascmails Microneedling Skin Roller White Plastic Skin Care Roller For Home Use with Storage Case
First time using a dermaroller at home. I got the 0.5, which I read is as much as you want for DIY, especially if you are a beginner. The roller comes in a sealed packet and has a hard plastic case for storage. Roller feels well-made, and isn’t shaky or squeaky. Soaked it a few minutes in warm water and mild detergent, rinsed well, then soaked in isopropyl alcohol and allowed to air dry before use. Washed face, used mild exfoliant, hyaluronic acid serum, then swiped my fingers and jawline (where I’m using the roller) with an alcohol prep pad. Rolled 4-5 times in a vertical direction, picking the roller up and returning to the starting point each time, then moving to a different patch of skin. After rolling the entire target area, I repeated the rolling side-to-side, again lifting the roller up and returning to the starting point each time (I’ve read that going back and forth may cause damage to the skin). Reapplied hyaluronic acid serum to the area. The roller did not hurt at all, but I could feel the needles. After rolling, I repeated the same detergent soak to clean and alcohol soak to sanitize. I can feel a slight tingle and warmth on the area I rolled, but nothing intense. Make sure you do some reading from reputable sources before DIY microneedling and definitely sanitize the instrument EVERY time, but don’t be afraid…it’s not painful.
