10/10 SUNSCREEN (NOT Korean formulation)
I can finally write a review! I finished this whole bottle. I loved it. For everyone confused whether it’s the original formulation, no it is not. I recently got my hands on the original Korean version. The reason for this is that the Korean SPF filters are banned in the US (not bc they’re toxic, but bc the FDA has different requirements for testing; it’s just a bit silliness). HOWEVER! Don’t let that deter you from getting this. This formulation is amazing, because it has Panthenol, which made my skin look so nice and moisturized without clogging my pores, pilling, or feeling greasy. It may have also helped repair my damage skin barrier or at least didn’t hurt it (no stinging sensation). This is a lot dewier and moisturizing than the Korean version, which is amazing for my dry skin, especially in winter. I layer this over my Vanicream vitamin C serum and under makeup, and it does NOT pill. I still use this in warmer weather, and I haven’t felt gross or sticky at all. The only thing is, because it’s traditional American chemical SPF filters, it does sting my eyes later in the day, especially if I accidentally rub my eye, oops. For the price as well, this lays on my skin better than the expensive high-end American sunscreens I’ve tried. Overall, 9.8/10 (-0.2 just bc of the slight eye stinging but that’s normal for American sunscreens so it’s more user error atp).

I love this sunscreen. It goes on smoothly and there is no white cast at all. It helps makeup go smoothly on the face whenever I use makeup (I hardly use makeup). I also use it on my kids and they love it. My husband that doesnât use sunscreen also loves this sunscreen. I will be back for more. Only wish it was available in a bigger size because we all use it daily.

*Disclaimer (kinda long review,sorry in advance ð )I’ve been in search of finding the best sunscreen for my skin because I have an allergy to the sun which is not very common in the “black community” but you name it I’ve tried it all and it either burned my skin(For Black Girls) brand which my skin is finally looking normal after 2 years ð my face doesn’t look like I have a permanent highlight on my face, its finally evenly out. Or has a white cast, which this brand DOES NOT. I literally have nothing bad to said about this brand I LOVE it my skin feels great while I’m wearing it and it protects me from the sun.

Sensitive eyes be cautious!
I had to come back and edit my review. I initially gave 5 stars. This burned my eyes pretty badly but was not hard to get out of my eyes. It is not too greasy and not too matte. I am African American with deep toned skin. This spf left no white cast even after re-application. Unfortunately I can’t make this a daily sunscreen due to the eye sting.

Everyday sunscreen
I have a light peach skin tone and I always worried about white cast, but this Anua sunscreen’s texture is silky and blends smoothly. There is no white cast throughout the day. Maybe this is because it is a chemical sunscreen. I wear it under my makeup and it doesn’t clog my pores. I can definitely see a glow when I apply it to my skin. I will definitely keep using it, especially during summer.

Irritable on eyes
Iâve been on the hunt for a new face sunscreen for the warmer months as my current go-to has a bit of a lower SPF than Iâd like.Let me start with – I LOVE the finish on this sunscreen. Itâs semi-matte on my skin, not greasy or too shiny like many face sunscreens tend to be, but does leave a subtle glow that I find super flattering.Unfortunately, this product is extremely harsh on my eyes. Like, I tried it 3 times before I gave up because my eyes were swollen for days and stinging even when I washed it off kind of harsh. I donât have particularly sensitive skin either, but this happened to be a miss for me. Would give it 5 stars if not for the irritation!
