NOT instant read
Iâd give 0 if it was an option. 1 of the rods came off taking out of the package. They are also 100% NOT instant read. Checking temp on chicken, they start at room temp, and move in increments of 5-10 degrees until they get to temp. I run a kitchen and need temps quick, this was a terrible purchase, donât waste your time

Built to a price point and that is ok. They get the job done.
They feel a little cheap, but the feel matches the price point. Either way, they are accurate enough for home cooks, and I am less worried about my kids dropping them in the sink. They are basically disposable techâcheap enough to throw away, but they have replaceable batteries if you don’t.

Between the varying temperature readings I was getting from one thermometer to the next, and the lack of a sleeve for storage. For me, the quality wasnât there.

Not Instant Read
These do function, but definitely are not instant read. If you want instant read, use the Comark PDT300 (made by Fluke). These give you the temp in a few seconds or less.

Pass on this set and get an instant read
Very slow to come to temp, the probe comes out of the base when removed from product if itâs in something solid such as a block of cheese or wings that have been cooled. If you need to obtain temperatures of multiple items and use colored thermometers to avoid cross contamination, pass on this set, spend the extra few bucks and get a fast or instant read variety.
