I love ALMOST everything about this e-file Would recommend.
I purchased this e-file when the pandemic began, so that I could learn to do my own sculptured nails. This review, therefore is for HOME use, not professional use.I am extremely happy with this purchase. This e-file works as expected. The handle is very comfortable in my hand. There is no excessive vibration that I can detect. The e-file is lightweight and compact. It has a switch to go either forward or in reverse and this works perfectly. Changing out the bits is super easy with no effort. It is variable speed up to 30K.My only complaint is with the dial for the speed. It is EXTREMELY difficult to see what speed you are using. There is virtually no marking on the dial itself, and the graphic showing the increase in RPMs, which is on the face of the top, has no numbers to let you know how fast your machine is working. I had to take a thin sharpie to fix this. I made a mark on the dial, then I did some mathematical division to estimate where the RPMs were on the speed graphic and marked it as well (see photos). It’s not very accurate and I would really like to be able to easily see my speed. They really need to change this in future models. While I would prefer a digital readout, at least there need to be indicators on both the dial and the face, that you can easily see.The bits have been fine. I purchased 3 safety bits separately that I use most, but I also use the sanding barrels from this kit as well as a couple of the other “clean up” bits. There is certainly enough bits for you to use and get the feel of what else you might need. Again, I’m not a professional, so as an introduction to the various bits, this was OK. I think they should have provided a basic safety bit and some that weren’t the “diamond” style, as those seem to be my least favorite.Besides the issue of being able to see what speed you’re using, I have no complaints about this e-file and would recommend it for home use.

Doesnât work this is my second purchase, no luck!
Donât buy this product it comes defective!! I have purchased two one lasted less than 4 months the second one I used once and had to return. The first one has an electric short it will stop and go. I contacted Arisse for a defective device twice they have never responded. I purchased a second one because Iâm already used to the old one I had. Donât get me wrong when it works it performs great. The problem is it doesnât work 100% of the time. Battery life is great last you a few days. The second one I purchased tried to use once it stopped on me not even 10 minutes into me turning it on and using it with a client. Needless to say I was embarrassed to have said âlook I just got a new nail drill, remember my old one was not working last timeâ? Well this brand new one didnât work either!!! I had to do everything by hand which took me longer because she wanted a backfill. I love the device itâs easy to use has great speed and is light weight. I used it for traveling services. Yet now that I started to dig into the reviews I am not the only person who has had this problem. Save yourself the embarrassment with a client and your money.

Honest Nail Tech Review
I bought this drill early April 2023 and 8 months later here I am..Iâm a professional nail tech and on a budget not wanting to spend upwards of $200 on a drill I decided to get this one. It worked well for the first few months and I loved it. But over the last 2-3 months it has started acting up. It started out just being a little louder and then became very noisy, making sharp grinding sounds and today it stopped rotating while in use! I have tried using an air duster to clean any dust that may have gotten into the vents but it didnât seem to help.I had high hopes for this e-file based on numerous reviews read and after searching through other drills.I am gravely disappointed in only having it 8 months and now possibly having to replace it. During the holiday season it isnât ideal nor in my budget.If you are someone who does their nails at home this would probably be fine but Professional Nail techs beware.UPDATE:The seller reached out and replaced the hand piece free. Took longer to receive than expected but seems to be working. Hopefully it lasts me longer this time.

UPDATE: The company saw my review and contacted me asap with the offer to ship me a new drill for free, or refund my money. I chose to receive a new one because I really did like the drill in the first place. They have excellent customer service, thank you! I’m changing my review to four stars for now.I ordered this January 30th. It took awhile for me to be able to use it because I didnât have all my materials yet, but I finally was able to a few months ago. I like the cord length, I like the weight of it, it feels very comfortable in my hand, itâs easy to operate, I like how you can change direction of the rotation, and the speed settings were great for beginners and professionals. Iâve done my nails three times using my drill, and I used it a couple of times in between to clean up the edges when they grew out a bit. Right in the middle of doing my nails yesterday, the motor started making weird sounds and had a couple of weird vibrations that I hadnât heard or felt before. I turned it off because it was running weird, and when I go to turn it back on, it wonât. Iâve made sure thereâs no powder clogging it, itâs fully charged, and you can see it physically turns on but the motor wonât start anymore. It was great while it lasted but I certainly expected to be able to use it lot more than on just three sets of nails! I had only been using it for about 15 minutes when this happened so it wasnât overheated or anything. Iâve let it rest and Iâve tried turning it on several times last night and again this morning and it definitely is dead. Maybe I got a lemon?? Either way, it stopped working in the middle of my nails so now I canât finish them, so this is very inconvenient and I donât feel like I should have to purchase another when this should still work!
