Sure you can get one cheaper, but why would you?
I actually teach massage therapists how to use percussion devices in their practice. I use this Bob and Brad device in my class and usually wind up recommending it to the students. It’s a great professional device, with enough useful attachments, but at a fantastic price.Sure you can get a percussion device for half the price (you can also get them for twice the price or more!), but when you get the cheapest one, you’re getting a less powerful motor. Why does that matter? The motor is what drives the percussion head into the muscles to get the results. A less powerful motor will not give you the amplitude you need to get deeper into the muscles. Also that means every time you push your device into your muscles (which you shouldn’t, but we all do) you’re straining the motor, which will make it burn out, and then you’ll just have to buy another one.This one is durable, has a great warranty, and will last you a long time (I haven’t had it quite a year yet, so I can’t say forever.) Also, the warranty is legit, even if you purchase from Amazon instead of the company directly. I highly recommend this device!

Mediocre Battery life-Good Warranty-Great Customer Service.
I love my Bob & Brad. Go to bed with them often after a long day working the gardens. I made my first purchase March 2024. Item was used often but only for the 10-15 at a time on the needed spots. But due to a health issue, the item sat around for 4 months. Once I was cleared, I went to use it again, but it would not charge, even after 10 hours. Different cords and blocks were used but still no charge. I called customer service, although I had it over the year warranty period, they told me ‘The warranty period has been extended to two years.’ (Seems to be a known issue) A few bits of information were exchanged, and I had my new C-2 in less than two weeks.In the meantime, I purchased a lesser price massage gun thinking that there couldn’t be a major difference… BOY was I wrong! It was like a tin can with batteries. Light weight, noisy and not strong. It’s being sent back.Yes, the battery life is short, maybe an hour. And yes, it is asked that you don’t run the battery down which will be an issue if the product isn’t used for a few weeks or months. Even with all the issues with the battery life, the massage gun is worth the money. There are many different attachments that can be used for different parts of the body, and it is easy to hold and move around the body. The variable vibration speeds will insure a deep or not so deep therapeutic session.

UPDATE REVIEW – DEAD AFTER 7 MONTHS:I bought this back on Aug. 31, 2023, was very impressed as in my original feedback below. With the exception that it should have a separate On/Off switch.Now it’s April 11, 2024 just 7 Months Later and it’s DEAD. This item was only used by me and not abused. I am a senior and looked after this item hoping I would have it for a long time. But, now it’s DEAD.It was on a Full Charge, while using it there were still 3 of the four charge indicators lit, then, it just stopped working. It was only running for about 5 minutes so it was not an overheating thing. Just died and now it’s useless.I don’t see a link to reach out to the seller to let them know. Maybe they would replace it with a bit of luck, we shall see.Costco has one similar which might be a good bet as they are great on looking after their customers.I bought one of these after seeing the smaller version a friend of mine has. I am pleased with this massager, it has a good quality feel to it and should last a long time. The categories for rating “Pain Relief” this definately does the job to provide good pain relief. As for catefory “Battery Life” well I only have this a short time and I have no reason the battery won’t have an overall long life, only time will tell. And, the “Easy to Use” rating, well, it is easy to get a good comfortable grip for use and also easy to change the various heads what come with the massager. One not so convenient thing with the ease of use is the On/Off power. There are five different speeds, the speed button and power on/off button are one and the same. If you operate the massager by pressing once you are ON speed ONE and if you want to TURN OFF the massager you need to cycle through speeds, TWO, THREE, FOUR and FIVE before reaching the POWER OFF, that is FIVE presses to turn OFF the massager……. maybe an individual POWER ON/OFF button may be a design improvement and added convenience. Overall rating right now, I am happy with the massager and feel that it will do it’s job well; I would buy again.UPDATE: After using this for over a month I have just one complaint. There should be an ON/OFF Switch added. Each time I use this it’s usually on the “low” speed, then in order to turn the massager OFF I need to CLICK the BUTTON a FULL 5 times to turn it OFF. The speed button and the power button are one and the same. This really becomes annoying and inconvenient quickly. Make this modification and I would say you have the best massager ever. Other than this MAJOR inconvenience it’s a great massager.UPDATED REVIEW: MAY 2025 ………………My first review of this C2 Massager was correct. It was totally fabulous in every way. It does everything you want and more. It is built to last and built to satisfy and get the job done.I added updated comments about 7 months after purchase. If I every provide an opinion or feedback and realize after that I was wrong or unfair in any way I think it’s simply the right thing to do is come back and let that be known.It is definitely well deserved in this case that I need to give an update.I could give a lot of detail, instead I will get to the point.I was wrong about the “POWER SWITCH”….. there is a SIMPLE way to turn this massager OFF with just ONE simple click. It’s embarassing, but I did not press hard enough on the power button. All I had to do was press just a tiny bit harder for a second or two and presto, it’s TURNED OFF.As for this C2 Massager failing after 7 months – NOPE again. Yes, I am honestly the dumb one here…. all I had to do is1) PLUG it in correctly, wow, how hard is that…. and…. 2) use a little energy and PRESS the POWER Button.I want to let you know that THIS COMPANY WAS HERE FOR ME, I should have commented earlier, but better late than never. When you post fair comments they read both the good and the not so good. This company listens to you and will look after you. It was certainly my experience.Okay., I am glad I have the opportunity to update my comment and not leave alone comments that were not correct…..when I make a mistake I need to come clean.BOTTOM LINE: AWESOME Company to deal with. Je souffre depuis des années de douleurs au niveau du cou et l’omoplate. Environ 5 torticolis par an. Les douleurs se déclenchent très rapidement après même avoir juste lavé deux assiettes. Les séances kiné me faisait du bien mais que sur le moment.Je me suis surprise ces derniers temps à pouvoir faire un tas de choses et me dire mais je n’ai pas mal effectivement tous les soirs je passe l’appareil dans mon cou 5 minutes pour être certaine j’ai arrêté cette routine et de nouveau ces affreuses douleur alors oui cet appareil a amélioré mon quotidien il est de très bonne qualité il est robuste avec un très beau design et une belle pochette pour le ranger et l’emporter facilement! Je peux m’en servir seule malgré que ce ne soit pas ultra léger mais vu l’appareil c’est normal. Il est même très efficace sur des douleurs de courbatures après sport c’est vraiment une merveille. Mes proches ont pu le tester et ils ont tous été séduits! J’en avais acheté un de 20€ qui n’était pas aussi efficace et surtout qui a lâché très rapidement alors cet appareil mérite amplement son prix et 5 étoiles!
