This shave cream is top notch. It dissolves quickly in warm water in my hand, and applies evenly. It provides much better lubrication than any I’ve tried from a can. It has a pleasant fragrance, and rinses off easily after shaving.

Great product! Recommend straight razor
this stuff is great and I trust the reviews. however I have a multi-blade razor and it does not work great with this shaving cream. I imagine this shaving cream is excellent for straight razors. it’s legit barber style stuff. smells great! I don’t recommend it for multi blade razors.

Excellent shave cream for wet shaving
I started wet shaving about a year ago and have tried numerous software and hardware products and use both DE & SE razors. This is apparently made by or owned by Proraso which I love. The Bigelow shave cream has a wonderful scent and a mildly âcoolingâ effect. Iâm sure you could use it without a brush but I use a shave brush and have done bowl and face lathers with Bigelow, both of which have given me a beautiful thick and protective lather. If you want something that is no fuss and you can just use a quarter size amount or less to make a great 2-3 pass shave, then this is a quality product. This should last me at least 6 months of shaving daily. Made in Italy. The photo is from my shave den I just cropped it to focus on the actual shave cream tube. In the winter months I run the tube under hot water and let it sit in the sink of hot water for a few while I prep everything else. This makes for a comfortable shave. I highly recommend keeping a tube of Bigelow and/or Proraso on hand! Enjoy.

I have used this shaving cream for two days. It has resulted in two of the closest shaves in memory, devoid of nicks and with a smooth and comfortable finish. If my experience continues, I expect this to take the place of my current cream/oil combination.

Stop Looking and Just Buy This- Thereâs No Comparison.
I have used this shaving cream for years (and I mean years). Sadly when a certain body and bath retailer stopped carrying it, I thought it was discontinued.Until I saw it on Amazon. I just got my first tube in a long time and the difference is night and day. Iâve yet to find any shaving cream at the big box stores that comes anywhere near the quality of this product, especially when used with an even a cheap âbadger hair brushâ.I havenât a shave this close in years and I remembered after the first use how there was no compare to this product. Perfect liveicstion, lather, protection, and closeness of shave.Seriously stop looking and just buy this.
